The best thing about this is it has highly configurable bots and scenarios. The developer is an ex quake world pro who made this for himself and eventually brought it to steam. There are lots of scenarios on steam workshop for quake and overwatch(widow jumpshots, tracer/mcree 1v1's etc).

You can do similar things just loading up maps and bots in Quake live or CSGO etc but this has way better configuration of bots and dodging profiles. It's also very lightweight and doesn't use much resources in the background. I find it easier to load or alt tab to when I've got a couple of minute to kill and play a quick scenario or two.

Interesting concept!
Looks decent, not heard of this before - not sure how much use it would be though as I find every game has a different “feel” to the sensitivity/acceleration/movement/frames etc etc so this could be more of a detriment if you get more used to how this practice game feels compared to the game you want to practice for.

Good saving though so heat added

Yeah how much it translates over I don't know. In theory it lets you drill specific situations same as you would in the lab for a fighting game. I recommend it more if you like shooting bots now and then this has some pretty good ones.

With regard to matching different games the settings available are fairly comprehensive down to adding x ms of simulated input lag. For example the movement options:

Weapon config is pretty extensive also. There are scenarios were you have tracers blink and recall, pharah's boop thingy etc. Someone made a scenario with Zenyatta's orb projectiles. There's a bot with genji's double jump and dash but I'm not sure anyone's added him as playable rather than enemy. Dev hasn't added in strafe jumping acceleration yet but I think he said it's on his to do list.

That does look good! I imagine if there’s a community behind it that is able to help recreate game settings it could be an epic little tool! At very least it’ll help hand/eye coordination and getting used to your own personal setup! Would have loved this back in the day when I was obsessed with Quake 2! Was stuck with Eraser bots for offline play!
All seems pretty old school after playing Pavlov VR.
Better single player game than CoD Infinite Warfare. HAWT.

Very much so it has several quakeworld scenarios. I imagine this appeals more to the older generation who have fond memories of fighting bots.
