Kraft Bulls-Eye Original BBQ Sauce Reduced from £2 to 50p @ Asda

This is an excellent BBQ sauce, a genuine American recipe which until recently you could only get on import from the USA. The Asda in Andover had this reduced from £2.00 to 50p, online it is still showing as £2.00 so it may only be a local deal, for some reason most of the BBQ sauces were heavily discounted. The bottle size is 425ml.

From the Asda website:

It's made in the EU but tastes identical to the stuff I used to get at an American import shop in London.

The nearest asda to me is miles away, shame though, I've ran out of the US stuff I ordered from elsewhere. As Canada said I would happily pay £2 if it's decent.

It is in the same shaped bottle, is the same recipe as the original version north American stuff, it is just made in the EU. I used to pay a fortune for this when it was only on import (more than a fiver a bottle), utterly divine & miles better than anything else out there IMHO!

£2 in mine
though i think the local pricing is due to range review that appear to be happening in stores

In the USA there are all these variants, now I'm salivating:

Bold Original
Chicken & Rib Renegade
Grilled Onion & Garlic Showdown
Old West Hickory
Honey Garlic Bonanza
Hot Southern Cajun
Sweet & Sticky
Blazin' Chipotle
Steakhouse
Steakhouse BBQ with A.1. – Bulls-Eye barbecue sauce, flavoured with A1 Steak Sauce
Smokin' Chipotle - flavoured with the chipotle peppers
Raging Buffalo - A combination of barbecue and hot wing sauce
Sweet & Sticky BBQ Rib Sauce - An extra thick sauce flavoured with apple cider
Guinness Draught - Flavoured with authentic Irish Guinness Draught beer
Memphis Style - Mustard & spices with a sidekick of sweet brown sugar

In Canada, it is the official BBQ sauce of the Calgary Stampede, yum. It is a really tasty, sweet, rich sauce that will go great at a BBQ.

Thanks, it looks like it may be a local deal then, if anyone else reports it is at the full price at their store then I will amend the listing to local only.

It was 50p in my local Asda aswell and theres lots of others reduced aswell as i picked up a few bottles of the Jack Daniels barbecue sauce which should have been £2.87 a bottle and it was 54p

Not in Cheltenham

Ok, silly question time, but can I ask, is this the sauce you coat chicken with (for example) and leave to marinade for an hour before cooking, or is it the stuff you can brush on when cooking to add instant BBQ flavour?

Thanks in advance...

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago at full price, only to see it the next day in the 99p shop.

We'll keep looking! :-)

thumbs up:)

none in boston, JD is full price seems a local deal

It is marked up at £2.00 in Asda Bootle, but still scans at 50p...

They had this in bishopbriggs last night at 50p. Used it on brb last night and loved it. That is all.

50p in the South Bank, Middlesbrough store, quite nice mixed in with Newboulds Stir fry.

£2.98 scanned today in Asda Stafford.
