It says in the terms and conditions above that it is limited to four doughnuts per person.

my local shuts at 2300, too late for most I reckon...they should join too good to go...

Wouldn't matter about most, as long as there's one person (even though on paper, it says max 4 per person). Hopefully, they can be be lenient if they get fewer than 1 person per 4 unsold doughnuts

    Hope this helps

Apparently, Brent Cross store closes at 9pm this week, not 6pm as it states on website. Heard from a friend so I can't verify this!

Apparently, for Charing Cross, where the website says 7pm, it actually closes 8pm.

Apparently, for Westfield White City, where the website says 8pm, it actually closes 9pm. Staff member has contacted HQ to update this. Not sure about weekend close times.

If you do attempt to redeem this offer, I recommend to:
    * where possible, confirm closure time(s) with the store assistant in advance
    * arrive a few mins early, even if they say "59 mins past only" - more often than not, they decide to hand boxes out before '59 past' for everybody's convenience. Plus, queues may be there (especially for the earlier 6pm & 7pm closures), which means first-come, first-served.
    * be lenient, be positive. I believe this is a trial. If HQ have enough reason to not extend this offer, then they probably won't. Let's not give them such reasons, namely, relatively heavy disappointment from users, or complaints from front-line staff about how this affects how customers treat them. I personally think this is an excellent move from Krispy Kreme to reduce waste and bring joy to customers simultaneously, so I'd love to see this offer continue - with some kinks ironed out (e.g. accurate advertised closing times). Guessing they are binned . only costing them the box or bag . Lots of places just bin to save hassle ( arranging collection for instance )

Surprised they didn't just do too good to go (edited)

Just went with my partner to Hull store and we've got 2 boxes each. There was one guy before us, but as I saw there were a few boxes left. The guy who was working was really friendly and knew about the promotion straight away

Basically until now, they just had to waste unsold perfectly eatable food. Think of those in hunger either have no money or there isn't enough food to go around. (edited)

I think they would probably prefer to give away than bin . might add 10 minutes onto their shift / close . Could be managed easily as well with foresight ( count queue and premake boxes )

I can't see a massive uptake for this imo also . Don't think its a great idea to rock up to Krispy Kreme at 11pm to possibly get 4 free doughnuts you can't pick . hopefully they are more generous but the negatives outweigh the positives atm for me

Got mine from Liverpool Street station. The staff had all the boxes ready to give out. No chaos as everyone queued up like proper Brits for their free box.

This seems mad, why don't they box and stack them up by the door 5 or 10 minutes before end of day and just give them away and do coffees for people if they want while folks square away.

Having a last minute crowd smacks of social media influencer BS marketing.

If they didn't cost so much in the first place they'd probably sell more of them (or all of them) before the shops close, absolute rip off prices for a few doughnuts.

Wonder why some stores are excluded? Gutted as I work a few shops down from kk in Bath. They very rarely put them on too good to go but sell out in seconds! Often walk past at 6 and they have dozens left on occasion.

Was a bit gutted with this. They only have 1 minute to serve you, with one member of staff putting a box through the till and the other serving you (so it’s just a matter of how quick the person is at filling boxes). I was one person away from getting one when they ran out of time (still had donuts left!) but couldn’t give me any☹️

Yes same thing happened to my elderly mum, guy took a while to do mine so she was 10 seconds late.

Happened to be near a store today so tried my luck. Got some. No one else was asking for them, staff member only works weekends and said no one asked yesterday.

The person before me had done 2G2G and paid £3.65 for the same thing. Still loads left after.

The t&c's say you have to arrive at least 1 min prior to closing, and to ask for last minute bix offer. So rocking up at 11am is at least 1 min prior to closing, and they should have plenty of stock then too.....

Or is it safe to assume all Krispy Kremes branches are doing it? (excluding Krispy Kremes at supermakets etc)

I assume KK stores and kiosks/concessions.
Read the details, there’s an excluded list.

In Leicester we have a proper KK concession stand in a shopping centre and they’re excluded.

So what's going to happen after the 12? Expecting customers to start buying the stale doughnuts that are leftover or they going back into the bin?

Just make it permanent right? Or are they going to increase capacity during these dates

EDIT; I missed the part in the t&c where it said no supermarkets!!!

I'm confused because a supermarket one came up but has no closing time listed? Since it's supermarket staff that sell them (its an unmanned stand) I doubt the Sainsbury's staff would know what's going on!? (edited)

Extremely disappointing!! been to the Croydon Whitgift store at closing time and there was an elderly couple trying to explain to the guy about the last-minute-box promotion. He had no clue. He called some other guy and discussed it for 15 mins only to tell us they are not participating in the promotion.

The sad part is, there was plenty of stock in the store and he said they sell it the next day. But that's not the company motto. Lost my trust in Krispy Kreme for the first time in so many years. Always trusted them to serve freshly made doughnuts.

They didn't have enough donuts. Only 7 boxes and like 20 people. I got refused. People queuing from 7.30pm ... borough high street. Official close time 8pm. (edited)
