Just checking the Brooklyn Website to see what todays deal of the day is, and it is the above laminate flooring. Reduced from £24.99 to just £4.99, now i checked postage and for 1 pack it is £4.95 which is why i have put the total to be £9.94, however it seems to be £4.95 postage for each pack you purchase, so in effect its £9.94 per pack delivered. There is 1 review which seems to have been rated as 5 stars, stating it looks just as good as the more expensive ones. There is also a sample facility, but giving that this is a deal of the day i don't think that is of any use, But if your looking for some reasonably priced laminate, then this could be the stuff for you!

A fabulous beech laminate flooring from Kronospan, a top brand, where you know the laminate flooring will last for many years.. It has an AC3 rating, making it suitable for everywhere in the home apart from bathrooms and ktichens. It can be used for commercial flooring, where there will only be a light amount of foot traffic.

Coverage: 2.47m2
Thickness: 7mm
Colour: Beech
Rating: AC3
Simple to Install - Glueless locking system

A maximum of 30 units can be purchased per customer (address) at this deal price. If you purchase more, the additional amount will be refunded and it may delay your postage.

Good deal if your living local as you can collect but £5 postage on each pack defeats the special offer price.

Also, you need to see the quality of laminate in my view before buying. I use the Brooklyn shop quite a lot as I live nearby - some of their stuff (ie. the paint) is good, but a lot of what they sell is cheap tat and the laminate is often better value bought from B and Q.

Who are these people brooklyntrading?

I just put an estimated postage in for 10 packs and it came to £29.99 so slightly cheaper if you buy multiples, so put in 30 packs and it is £50. I am not buying, but just thought might help.

Jason - Brooklyn Trading is a shop in Walkden, Manchester which mainly sells loads of cheap paint. It is on a small industrial estate next to the offices of a company called Klyne. I think the shop is like the outlet bit of Klyne. The shop sells half-price paint in tins which are mostly pretty bashed about, often with B and Q stickers on them, though some are obviously new as well.

The paint deals are great and we have used them a lot. However, the rest of the shop is full of cheap and end-of-line type stuff which is 99% tat. Loads of tiles, some decent, some horrible, cheapo 'leather' sofas (not particularly cheap), tools, grotty cheapo furniture etc. Overall not really any cheaper than B and Q.

I wouldn't be buying some over the web from Brooklyn because if it's the same as the stuff in the shop then I'd want to see it first. The paint is good value though.
