Usually £100+ this is a steal. Time to stock up again!

Previously posted at £60 when it went to 325 degrees, this is even hotter!

This was spotted in Banbury but its usually nationwide. Not for everyone but undeniably a bargain price for what it is.

It was this price briefly 6 weeks ago and now is back there. Happy days!

If you can afford £50 for bottle of champs, why are you looking for a bargain? Does price really matter to you? I find that strange.

You must be joking, I could get a really decent bottle of wine and a bottle of Cava for that price.

I saved £49.98 cause I don't drink

I'm guessing a lot haven't tasted Krug, a snip at £50, last bottle I bought was £180 for a good year

i would have thought the sort that drink krug would not frequent these pages...

Brilliant price for a good champagne, heat added.

With due respect, just because someone has a little/LOTS of extra cash doesn't mean they're not frugal with it. A bargain is a bargain, buying it at full price when you can get it for half is just wholly unnecessary and would indicate to me that one would be purchasing purely for the "status" of being rich. Not all rich people thrive on such a status I'm sure.

Secondly, your assumption that rich people only drink such expensive champers is also a little unfounded. Connoisseurs of wines and spirits come from all walk of life, theyre may be the odd individual who relishes in a good bottle of champagne and wants to treat themselves/taste something usually out of their price range/extend their palate/rate it for themselves. Being rich is not a prerequisite for any of the above reasons.

Bargain for the quality. HOT!!!

hot, great find thanks!

this is mental, do you KNOW how many bottles of white lightening £49.98 can buy?!

Xeres, good point well made. This is a bargain and therefore worthy of this forum. Heat.

So what "sort" frequent these pages ?
The "sort" who earn their money tarmacing driveways ?
The "sort" who get excited by posts for 1p off a tin of beans ?
The "sort" who think cod roe is a delicacy on a par with Caviare ?

Or is it that you like to compare all with you own standard of living ?

bought a bottle for that price 2 weeks ago - going to drink it tomorrow, had one bottle before but prefer Bollinger

£50.00 for a bottle of fizzy heartburn drink???? NO THANKS'

Asti Spumante around here cocker!!!

I was going to post this site too.....the most luxury hotels ever :w00t: but you can stay at them cheaper by bidding on the auctions or buy it now.......
the prices are cheaper than the hotels actual prices etc.......but still very expensive, but beautiful :-D
luxurylink.com/
But some people might not think so,as with this deal,if it saves someone some money,it's a deal to me  thanks op for posting.

I had some the other day and it really didn't do it for me. I had Dom too but that was the same. I reckon a good, old fashioned bottle of Tattinger at £22 from Tescos or wherever is the best.

I'm glad that this deal is getting the heat it deserves as some hot deals (in my opinion) have been voted down recently due to the relative high price for the product, and the actual "deal" has not been taken into account.

This site is designed for one thing and one thing only...to get a particular product at its cheapest price!!

This is the cheapest price for THIS PRODUCT...therefore it is hot. No question on whether it is to someones taste or not, or they would rather pay £2 on a bottle of babysham and save the extra money for when t bags come down to less than 1p per bag?!

I just feel that on some occassions really good deals are not geting the credit they deserve, its like the worlds turned into scrooges!!

I feel better for getting that off of my chest :whistling:

Hot for me!! Have some rep as well!

1p off a tin of beans? Where? I'm there, get it posted now!

So can anyone confirme that this is nationwide? Would be a nice addition to the cellar at this price.

Super hot btw if nationwide

Hot from me too, if some of you lot stopped drinking Stella and Carling you might be able to enjoy this....for us its a rare treat, many thanks to addictweb

.

Ah this will upset the £1 dvd crowd no doubt.

I find you (or at least your posts) strange. You seem to sit on the sidelines throwing rocks at other deals.

A deal is something significantly cheaper than normal price. If someone wants to blow 50 quid on a £100 bottle of shampoo should that give you a sleepless night?

Oooh nice find, not usually one to spend a lot on drink, in fact I barely drink but I do like a bargain and I do like a glass of champagne on a special occassion, I will check out Tesco tomorrow and grab a bottle, in fact maybe 2 at this price, we have a baby arriving in our extended family next month and this would go down a treat for the new parents, saves some gift thinking too..................good job OP !!!

but think how many denby dale pies i could buy instead

£50 FFS! Does it really taste better than my usual tipple Buckie.....I think not! :-D

is this in every store? I want some of this for my wedding!

Labman ... your post is the equivalent of asking if a bmw drives better than a lada...by your reasoning a cars a car so why pay more money?!

Don't know why this is so hot. I can get as much water as I want out my tap in the kitchen for nothing.

Some people on here miss the point. Krug whether you think it is over priced or not is a hot deal at £49! Heat by me!!

Not for me - but a good deal! - voted hot!

What a ridiculous post. I'm hoping it is sarcasm, and not pretentiousness.

true, though my palet(?) isnt good enough to tell the difference between an average and good champagne...tried most but just think some of it is so pretentious....like cristal champagne imo is massively overrated and overpriced....prefer dom perignon but refuse to pay the price....most cheaper ones are fine...my relatives get it at trade price and the price they charge is criminal but plenty of saps pay it

I would simply like to query the use of the comma in this particular sentence and the context of the term 'pretentiousness', :-D

Voted red hot. An incredible deal for this quality of champagne.
