That's a snazzy looking machine. I like it.

Wouldn't bother! We have this at work, you have to guess the amount of got water for each pod and push the lever back to stop it. There are better dolce gusto machines out there for not much more! It does look pretty, we have it in white but it's a faff. I'll vote hot for the price though x
Fab machine - you can download an app on your phone so you know how much water to use

Or optionally, read the box which tells you
If you use it often enough it gets easy to eyeball the amounts of water for each capsule.
Mum had that version, awful, just a hassle to keep refilling the small water tank..
has been the same price at Amazon and ASDA although in colour black not red, have one and it does feel flimsier than the Melody model for example as everything is made out of plastic...although it looks nice, not surprised it is on offer.

Agreed but love coffee pods a shame but will forego them to save plastic pollution change your habits people it's just silly and a waste not everything we invented is good grab a jar of instant you will get used to it.
Well not really but still think planet please.
Coffee machine deals coming for Christmas
Try cutting open a pod. It's just powered coffee and milk in a pod. Taste is subjective granted, but I can't see how it could taste any better than instant. Worse I'd say given that the hot drink isn't as hot as one made using a kettle. The price of the pods is unbelievably expensive too.
Reserved one to pickup from currys
I have one, it's a bit noisey and like others have said you do have to eyeball how much water your adding but it's easy if you look what your doing, you do see the water run clear before you reach the top of a regular size mug depending on what pods you use but I add that extra bit of water to fill to the top, still tastes great ,it's good for enjoying something different to regular coffee, caramel macchiato is my fave atm, my son likes nesquik hot chocolate from it with some mini marshmallows in, there's usually some cheaper pods at b&m etc

Like printers right? Machine will be cheap and make money from selling the pods. Voted cold.

It’s ground coffee, not instant, huge difference in taste, granted pods are again not as good as proper coffee

So same price as other large retailers, more if you take into account the £5 gift card at Curry's, loads of people saying how poor it is, and it goes on highlights? Slow deal day?

I'm tempted to use my code on this.

I have a different version and it's great but a bit splashy with smaller cups.

This version looks like the body shrouds the cup to stop splashes.

Another issue with machines like this: the clear plastic water flask goes mouldy if you leave water in it, especially under the glare of sunlight. Urgh.
Ive never found the Dolce pods reduced like ive found Nespresso (50p for 10 so I bought loads) Lavassa £2 for 16 and Tassimo which regularly have great deals on their website. I check often as I would like to add a Dolce Gusto machine to my collection. Anyone who can advise me otherwise .I'm all ears.

Tescos are selling the pods 2 for £7 for their Dolce Gusto (including Starbucks coffee) in their shops and according to their website. They regularly go on offer in supermarkets (remembered a while back Asdas were selling 3 for £10 - Amazon sells 3 boxes for about a tenner) but not to the degree of savings you're specifying.

Thankfully, the Nescafe exclusive rights have expired so there's a ton of 3rd party coffee brands to choose from in stores and online (Costa and Starbucks, own brand etc).

It does not contain powdered freeze dried soluble coffee granules, it contains ground coffee, they are definitely an improvement over instant, the main mistake people make using manual Dolce gusto is making the drinks too long diluting the drink. Keep the drinks short like Nespresso and buy the espresso pods and it becomes a convenient 15 bar espresso machine

It's vastly superior to any instant coffee I've ever had.

Lot's of supermarkets now do Dolce Gusto compatible pods. My favourite is the ones in Aldi. The Americano is not quite as good as Nestlé's own pods but there's not much in it. 16 pods for £2.49 - 16p a coffee

Also here's a link to the app in the Playstore for those who struggle to work out how much water to add

Easy to recycle now
I couldn't find much info about pods. Is the machine similar to the Essenza mini and will it work with all non milk nespresso compatible pods or this machine only works with gusto types? Thanks for all help in advance
Out of stock - more expected by Tuesday 26th November. By then black Friday deals will be much more common and there may or may not be something better

Yep I pick up all sorts for my other 3 machines from shelves , discount bins etc usually in Sainsburys, Waitrose, Tesco and Asda. Never spotted any Dolce Gusto pods strangely and I do look as my mate has a DG machine.I have seen the 3 for £10 deals but thats way too expensive for me. Amazon own brand Nespresso capsules (drinkable) work out at just over 8P a cup or £1.32 for 16. £8.23 for 100.
Why not just buy one of three and add your own coffee, use filters so no mess.

Coffee to go
