Great deal going from the 24th November. I picked one up when they were previously going for £99 but this looks to be a fantastic deal.

11.88 litres of the good stuff for £21 from Asda at the moment - 58.8p per bottle. As much as I want one of these machines, they are too expensive to refill.

These actually any good?

What a horrible Web site. It was flipping all over the place. Seems a good deal though.

Good deal this, voted hot, cheapest ever on Amazon £99.99. plus 2 torps can't fault it.

If it’s the Heineken sub I’d probably bite at this price, any chance the op can give us a few comments on how good it is please? Cheer

How can you get this deal? Can't find it on the website

Joni because it’s from 24th nov......

Interested in how good this is too, also can you get the subs elsewhere? Don’t want to have to buy £50 of beer a time just cut out postage....

Does the sub plug in and keep it chilled?

The Torps work out at £4.50 a Litre or approx £1.50 for 330ml - So your basically paying £51 for the sub / £18 for the 2 x Torps. Kind of pricey given the list of (fairly average) beers they currently support. Cheaper than RRP so still a "deal" of sorts but not 100% these will catch on.

If there was a way to modify or make your own Torps then I'd be interested.

ive got a sub machine, good piece of kit, it keeps the torps really cold and the beer stays fresh for up to two weeks, good tip is to chill it in the freezer or fridge first as if you put it in the machine warm it will take a long long time to chill it until the machine is happy.

£69 is a wicked price ive got the red one.

Cost of the refills kill this for me. Would love one, but at £1.90 per pint, is a bit rich for my liking. Would love if someone found a way to refill them. Had a quick look, but couldn't find anything. Anybody know if it's possible?

Excellent deal if you don't mind the cost of the refills.

I haven't used mine yet, it was a Xmas present off my other half and its up in the attic waiting for Xmas day. Wish we had waited and got this deal instead now. Sub does plug in though and chills to 2°C.

I love my Sub. Hated it when I first got one as I ended up pouring ice creams. Found chilling the glass or rinsing with cold water before hand sorted that problem. A lot better then cans or bottled beer

Erm..... it doesn't start till the 24th so you can't buy it yet

Build yourselves a keezer (a brew fridge/ serving fridge) and brew your own imo. £200-£300 all in.

will be having a debate with myself come the 24th as to "do I want one? do I need one?"

"Please note TORPS are not sold in any retailers and can only be purchased on our website."

...........where the delivery charge is £5 unless you spend £50!

So, £7.49 + £5 for 2 litres!!!

(This is worse than razors and razor blades - let alone Tassimo et al.)

Trick is to spend £50 per order isn't it? Got to be viable for them to send them out hasn't it? If free delivery for just 2 torps, they wouldn't make profit...

10% Quidco too

£1.50 for equivalent of a 330ml bottle seems a bit rich.
Usually drink Heineken, Corona or Sol and rarely pay more than £1 a bottle (which then stay ‘fresh’ longer than 2 weeks).

Works out around £2 a pint, which I think for the novelty value and cold draught is not bad when you consider it's around £1.20 for a decent 330ml bottle in supermarkets. Peroni is around £12 for 10 330ml bottles when on offer

Very cool idea but wish they had a better range of beers. Hot from me anyway though.

Are you happy with it overall? Given the cost/torps etc.

Haven't used as of yet as a Xmas present. Had same concerns as some people on here but planning on buying torps when on offer. I initially bought 14 for £95 with 6 Heineken star glasses. I plan to have torps every now and again and supplement with bottles of Heineken from supermarket when I want to have more than a couple of pints. I know it's a bit of a gimmick/gadget but that's what Xmas is for and the Heineken sub looks really good and will be a great addition to the kitchen, certainly on Xmas day!

Also had 10% quidco so down to £85.5. Glasses supposedly worth £15 but I see them as more of a nice extra for free. Therefore £85.5÷14 = £6.11 ÷ 3.52 (number of pints in a torp based on 568ml), therefore £1.74 a pint. Still a bit pricey but not bad for a few pints here and there.

Return it 11 months later? Good luck finding a retailer with that generous a returns policy.

Sounds like you know nothing about beers if you drink that muck. Buying alcohol based on price makes you sound like an alcoholic.

Great idea but the price on the beer is far too expensive.Such a shame.

The Heineken one is currently on lightening deal at Amazon (normally £169) but it doesn't come with any beer

Get this one or wait and hope demand isn't sufficient to outstrip supply on Friday? Hmmmm

Have a £10 promo code for £50+ Amazon order too. What to do........

No German beer? Would have bought one if there were some German wheat beers, ya know, real beer

Love Pelforth Blonde which just happens to be one of the cheapest torps on the website... Looking forward to this

Some thing like this would be great for a party but what a complete pain in the arse it would be having to change the Torp every less than 4 pints! Especially waiting for it to cool for a while in between! If you had more than a couple of friends over you'd be forever pissing around changing the things.

Keep torps in the fridge. They take seconds to swap out.
