Mango Pulp is really great to add to curries but it's like those tins of Ghee... I'm never going to use even a third of this before it has to be thrown out.

lol I can relate to that. We try to make lassi everyday to ensure it gets finished
I would strongly suggest anyone if there near an asian food store to see the price there as only last week it was on offer in Coventry for 79p. Chances are it will be cheaper, even if it isn't on offer.

OP still a good deal for those who can't get to an asian store or don't have one local!37703264-TzE3g.jpg
99p in my local Asian Cash & Carry.
However not a bad price for those that can't get to a C&C!

I made sorbet out of the whole tin.

How do you make mango milkshake

Put about half of one of these tins in a blender
Fill blender with milk
Put 2/3 spoons of yoghurt
A spoon of sugar if you want it a little sweeter

Blend for about a minute
And you will have a nice thick Mango Lassi/Milkshake

Wow... your local Asian grocery store do flyers!! very organised (and keeping up with Lidl an Aldi)
Same price in Morrisons. They also do the Alphonso type for £1.50 which is considered the king of mango's
We use these for mango milk shakes but what are they actually made for? It's a lot of pulp..
Same price at asda now
Shame it has added sugar - isn't mango sweet enough already

I mix it with whipped cream and freeze to make mango icecream. It comes out perfect.
