I know people on here like this stuff, even if this particular product is not organic or virgin or cold pressed. Also please note that user haybr would rather this was called "Vaguely coconut related grease".

RRP £6.99 down to £3.

My fIrst post, be nice : )

At time of writing the products Amazon sales rank is:

#31 in > groceries.
#5 in > coconut oils.

Keepa tracked this items price history at £6.99 from Amazon back in Jan-Feb at a similar sales rank. It got as low as £2.50 on Amazon at the start of this month, which was an Amazon / FBA price, so I suspect Amazon might return to a £2.50 price point again soon, but even at £3 for 2 Jars, na bad eh?

This is not virgin or cold pressed.

FREE Delivery in the UK on orders over £20

Amazon limited to 10 per customer.

This is cheaper than some of the larger volume deals, for 4, 6 or 12 Jars etc.

Finally, this is not virgin or cold pressed.

When checking HUKD to see if this deal was already posted, I noticed that some months back, when Sainsburys offered on 2 x 500ml jars for £3, HUKD users voted the deal up to 410+ degrees, so I thought I'd post this

Unlike that deal though, this deal is available now to anyone who is online - not just to those who live near a particular supermarket that stocks it, and it doesn't require you to get out of your chair, or spend your time or petrol money getting to and from a particular shop, instead get it delivered straight to your door.

Surely that's a bit hotter

It's a Add-on-Item though; so it does involve you spending £20 before you can add it to your order.
BUT it is a good price so I have given you some heat...... albeit a kind of toastie warm but not scorchio heat X)
Great find!

Good point, maybe more helpful for bulk buyers.

I also rank deals that I don't have to leave me chair for very very highly!
I thibk it's because people have got more savvy re coconut oil and what they are buying and this one is one of the worst ones
especially now you can a Virgin organic one from aldi for £3
(not voted by the way just answering your post)...

Same price in B&M
And Tesco, got one the other day

Subscribe to avoid the add-on limitation and then cancel the subscription. Also it becomes £2.85.
each is on sale in a tesco near me for £9.99
I'm almost sure these are reduced to £1.19 in B&M, they're definitely less than £1.50!

For dogs you need the cold pressed, organic unrefined coconut oil which is usually more expensive. This stuff whist good for some things, cooking maybe, is not the same as the coconut oil you give to dogs. This will just give them an upset stomach and is not good for them at all. Aldi do sell the better coconut oil, Tesco too.

For all those saying this isn't worth it and you need the virgin or cold press type could you point me in the right direction please?

I've used two tubs of these instead of oil recently and thought it was a positive move. Doesn't sound like it!! Thanks in advance

coconut oil is great for you, it's just the more health conscious people will be more picky about whether it is organic, cold pressed, virgin, etc. which is better still.

arguably something this cheap can be great to cook with, or do oil pulling with, when organic cold pressed stuff is perhaps less important to certain people. even this stuff is likely much better for you than regular cooking oil.

try searching both on HUKD as well as generally searching online for organic coconut oil. there was a great deal on here recently for organic coconut oil from Aldi for 75p! it's generally a good £5-7
Avoid. And to the comment above this, no, this is not better than normal oil! Its not because its 'fancy' being cold pressed or organic. Its because it has to be to give you the benefits.

search HUKD for "organic coconut oil" and check out the one from Aldi. it's a product called "Coco loco". on their own site it is still only £2.99 for 300ml I think. that stuff is cold pressed organic ... pretty good quality and price.

and with oil pulling? when the oil is not even swallowed.. extra virgin cold pressed is a benefit on top of a benefit.

another benefit of unfancy coconut oil in cooking is it's ability to cook at higher temperatures before producing harmful compounds, regardless of being cold pressed.
Coconut Oil has MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) which are good for you. Coconut Oil however is still a fad, this is for the type of person that watches How to Stay Young and rushes down to Holland and Barrett in the morning to buy some Inulin because it'll help them lose visceral fat, even though there's a multitude of other serious factors they need to address first.

I would no more consume Coconut Oil on a regular basis than engine oil and I do neither. I add coconut milk to my breakfast because I don't like cows milk.

If you're cooking then use Olive Oil there's many more studies of it's health benefits than Coconut Oil and it's cheaper.

If you're really looking in to changing your health significantly and positively then research the microbiome and change your diet to elicit a favourable change to your microbiome.

Oil pulling can be done with very inexpensive oil. Personally I'd rather brush my teeth for 2 minutes timed twice a day and be done with it.

I use the "fancy oil" as a make up remover. On tub lasts forever and it gently breaks away the strongest of mascaras.
I used a friends tub of this, and is crap in comparison. It would be better being called vaguely coconut related grease.

I think you are getting confused with KFC.
I use this stuff with dogs food once a day. It has resolved an itchy skin condition that the mutts had.

olive oil is bad for cooking. it is good for drizzling but heated up it becomes a carcinogen as it has a low boil point. much better of with ground nut oil or possibly even this coconut oil lol.

I really dislike it when people post old deal heat in the hope of getting even hotter.
Its like saying "hey last time it got 410 degrees, let me beg for it to get hotter"

Edit: I am out of coffee
