Found 1st Jan 2014
Asda are currently selling the big bottles of 15 litres KTC Sunflower Oil for only £12.

Well below the £1/litre rate that qualifies it as a good price in my books. Only 80p per litre!

Can't seem to find it online, but it is showing on mysupermarket for £19. mysupermarket.co.uk/asd…tml

How can this be cold? What is wrong with people

best price sunflower oil, I suppose people love there modified soya oil labeled as vegetable oil these days!

Much better getting this over the ASDA company sunflower oil which normally goes 5litres for £5.

This is the branded stuff people!

Oh & Heat added. Great find

Hot. Sad though that about five yrs ago a bottle of vegetable oil was about 55p for a litre.

that's a lot of oil people

SUPER HOT ESPECIALLY IF YOUR CAR CAN RUN ON IT!!!! 80 p vs 140p at petrol station is a big saving

Just phoned to check at my local in Blackburn and they had it in @ £19.

Where did you get it for £12?

Good find. Heat added.

See image post #1. The big plastic bottle has a cardboard box around it.

no no no, you've got it all wrong. It's KC and the sunshine band, not KTC and the sunflower oil !! Baby!, Give it up!

Many older diesel engines will run on this without conversion. I used to run my 1.8TDdi Focus with up to 50% vegetable oil in the tank, you wouldn't know it was there (until the weather turned cold at which point I would lower to 25% veg and sometimes add some petrol to thin it down).
Don't try running a modern diesel on this without proper research!

I ran my Peugeot 306 on this stuff a couple of years ago and **** the catalyst converter up.

I miss read this and thought it was KFC oil for some reason.

Great for diesel car. £0.80/L VS £1.37.99/L

never tried running a car on cooking oil
but my old astra gsi red top 2.0 L car almost came to a standstill
and was due to the honeycomb cells in the cat blocked
had to but a new cat which was only about £60
so yours may not of been down to using cooking oil
maybe just wear and tear

I use it all the time in my vw t4 . great price if you can find any.

10litres asda online 2 for £10 deal!!

I went to my local asda and they said they wasn't doing this deal. It was £19 for 15 litres.

Every asda I have been to are selling this for £19

Bought 18L sunflower oil in tin for £14.40 from this oil distributor in Leicester. told him it was for frying, but used it in my car. Had to buy a minimum of 30 tins for collection. So far seems to be great.
will be buying more from him soon.
