Cheaper than diesel !

Be careful with this cold weather if your gonna chuck this in your diesel - you might get problems.

here ensues the debate can i use these vegetable oil as a cheap sub for diesel:whistling:

If you don't know, best not to post, could make for an expensive mistake for someone.

Some diesel engines will take veg oil off the shelves.

Problem with these big bulk containers is they often contain de-frothing agents which are no good whatsoever for any engines. You'd need to read the label carefully before even considering it.

Is that to defrost the fish fingers?

Great deal.

I've seen this on Tesco.com today for £7.50 - was £11.90 so a saving of £4.40. Considering how expensive cooking oil is nowadays, this is worth stocking up on for everyday use!

If you're ordering online, you may or not may not see this offer depending on whether your delivery-store has an 'Indian & Asian Groceries' shelf. Offer ends (for online orders) 17th Feb.

If you're registering on Tesco.com for the first time, do so through Quidco and earn yourself a tenner. Also, if it's your first order enter voucher code: XX6M47 at the checkout to get yourself £7.50 off your grocery shopping - first order only though [ETA - minimum spend £50, delivery before 8th Feb]

Just what I was looking for to go in my brand new 09 Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI Titanium :-D

Nice price. A mate brought one for a laugh once to get back at someone who had wronged him. You would be surprised at how far it goes

.... explain

This is what curry houses use for their cooking when they claim..."NO CHOLESTEROL"

whatever..CURRY..mmmm

Been using this in my 1996 300tdi Discovery at ratio of about 10 to 1. Runs fine although not quite as lively as straight diesel. Just pour it in.

But wouldn't risk it on a modern fine tune expensive motor.

Before I saw this offer I was frying chips with BP City Diesel. Heat added!!!

Growing up in an Asian household we used to always have a stack of these in the corner of the room for some reason.

Where did he bring it from? :?

That's the hottest deal since I grabbed straight flush on the river at the Sahara Desert Texas Hold Em tourney. SCORCHING!

I just bought 100 litres. Amazing. I've probably got nearly my lifetime's supply of KTC Vegetable Oil all for $79.80. That frees up more money for my dream holiday... EuroDisney here I come!

They sell the 20L version of this stuff at Costco for about £15 as standard. never seen it go above £17. so if this deal falls through you could always go there if it works in your car.

Wouldn't put it in your Ford Focus. I run 80% Veg to 20% diesel in my Toyota Estima!

Most definitely NOT in a modern diesel engine. Besides, if you had a suitable engine you'd be better off using heating oil.

Since the decription is "vegetable oil" I assume this is rapeseed oil - or canola as it is otherwise known? Not the best of oils, I'd much rather pay a bit more and buy Sunflower.

My friend buys the 20L barrels of this for his 2001 mondeo, he runs it at at 33/66% diesel to oil ratio, runs perfectly for him.
