About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I've been looking at radiators online (yes, I have an exciting life) and this struck me as a bit of a bargain. I've ordered 2 and apparently they'll be here before the 26th Sept - they get shipped from another firm.

The same rad is £143 at Toolstation, although I doubt they sell many at that price.

I'll finally get to try all those Tado TRVs I keep amassing!

The 600x1100 is also available at £20.99 (h/t @Bobbite )

Just be aware when getting the Rads delivered from SF - Depending on the courier, they can often get bent out of shape. Just make sure you give it a quick check See reviews on screwfix product pages for the larger rads.

Would it be ideal and efficient to replace existing single panel radiator with this one, as it’s a double?

    Thanks in advance.
If your current radiator struggles to heat the room or takes a long time to heat the room to required temperature then yes. Otherwise stick with what you've got. Your plumber should be able to balance the new radiator into the system if required.

What is the typical installation cost for one of these?
I paid £90 to have one changed and one put back on. Then was to busy to do other one so

then £80 to just have one changed.

One bloke wanted nearly £300 to just do one.

I paid around £250 to have one installed yesterday which I thought was steep. He was here for 2.5 hours but still. Also £40 for taking old one off wall a few days previous! (edited)
Was that to just do a straight swap or was it a new installation where he had to do some pipework too?

48278814_1.jpgMy order of 7 just arrived. I've only opened 4, but they're in perfect condition. Delivered an hour late, but the courier was very friendly and did all the lifting (edited)

I ordered these ones previously when they were in stock: screwfix.com/p/k…6rk

Likewise come from a different supplier. On my first order I bought 2 and after a few days they said there were stock issues and cancelled the order. About a week later saw them available on the website again so ordered 4 and they arrived within a few days.

I assume at some point someone at Screwfix will realise they are basically giving these away but until they do, get them where you can.

Got these the other week when they were on offer. Cost more to get installed. But lot hotter and heat longer than old ones.

The only reason there at this price aswell is because screwfix is swapping to their own so just clearing stocks out

I had these from Screwfix and they were all bent really badly. Returned.

Type 21 are nowhere near as effective or efficient as Type 22. Given the price of heating, best to get the largest T22 rad you can fit. And don't forget the RADFLEK radiator reflectors to go behind them!
    What’s the difference ?
