Nice, they look well made.

I really need a 10cm one for my power bank, but no-one seems to make them that short.
A great price for a 60w C cord. The 0.5m on the app is 75p but opted for the 1m at £1.15
Not used Kuulaa before, are they up there with the likes of Ugreen, Baseus etc. - quality-wise?

Doesn't matter what it looks like does it have the resistor needed to protect your device?
Not suitable for the Honor 10 or other Fast Charge despite what it says. You require a 5A capable cable to ensure that you have a safe situation at full power draw so either won't work at full power or may overheat. No mention of safety resistors either. Personally I would not use it, even if given it for free, because USB-C is a whole different ballgame compared to older variants where almost anything that conducted electricity would work safely.

Unless I missed it, I couldn't find out whether it did. Given that almost every other supplier uses the resistor as an advertising device to boost sales it suggests to me that it doesn't have one. That makes it dangerous, in my opinion.

I ordered one, I'll tell you when it arrives.

However USB C to C cables need more than just the resistor. You are thinking of A to C.

So what's the cheapest alternative available for honor 10? Thanks

Amazon sell the original HL1289 Type C cables from Honor at £2.49 (reduced from £10 but I've never seen them more than £5) that are designed for USB 3.1, 5A & Supercharge. Available via Prime shipping. Ignore the reviews from people who decided to save a few pennies & bought from Amazon Marketplace from dodgy Chinese retailers. I have bought two of these 'fulfilled by Amazon' & not only do they work perfectly but I tested them & they definitely run Supercharge at 4.5v/5A like the specifications require (using a suitable power supply, of course).

If you want longer than the standard 0.9-1.0m cables then there are a lot of good 5A options. Just check the specs to ensure they are 5A, contain a 56k ohm resistor & support Huawei Supercharge AKA SCP (5v/4.5A & 4.5v/5A). Such things are classed as selling points so any decent quality cable supplier will let you know that they support them.

Are you genuinely telling me that it's too difficult for you to visit Amazon UK, type 6 characters in the search box & select the top result?

You claim Amazon sell for £2.49 but that's only from third party sellers (which many claim are not genuine).
Amazon themselves sell this cable for £6.15 (which is more than what you're claiming).

Therefore link please
Should have checked when I first posted, it was £2.49 then. Guess other people bought it meaning only third party "Fulfilled by Amazon" were left. Not my fault you checked over 24hrs after it was posted.

Did the cable work?
Reiko913/01/2020 18:53

It works fine, I can charge at the full 18W.

Was looking at 60w charging!
Okay, I tested it on a 60W laptop and it works fine.
