Where doe the £9 fitting come from? Kwik fit prices are all inclusive of fitting.

I have voted cold, as they are always very expensive for batteries and even with 25% off they're not exactly competitive prices.

Call in for a battery and end up having a new clutch, 3 tyres and full exhaust.
Avoid these rip off scammers.

Cold £57 at Scam fit can get one delivered of flee bay 4 year warranty for £32,takes seconds to fit...

Don't often vote cold but people should be wary of kwikfit, its only a matter of time before they rip someone off, my local one started asking for cash in hand so they could pocket the money lol

I would look at your main dealers website.
I have a Peugeot 5008 Diesel.
They want £110.00 for a fully fitted Stop Start battery.
Thats a great price.
Going by their main page thats the price for all peugeots £95.00 Petrol cars £110.00 for Diesel cars.

Just buy a battery from eurocarparts and fit it yourself it’s easy and you’ll save money no brainer

Just what I did last month. Kwik-fit price £133 , Eurocarparts £83. Fitted it myself - took 5 minutes.

Even if you can’t fit it. Go elsewhere.
The only thing I’d trust Kwik Fit with is to make a good job a disaster.

If you have AA or RAC etc.
Buy battery call them out.
When they tell you your battery’s had it ,pull out the new one and ask if they will fit it.
once fitted
Give the fitter a drink and everyone happy.
This worked with AA,RAC,KWIK FIT AND START RESCUE and GREENFLAG so far. Not just them but all the contractors they have sent

Ribena? What if he wants orange juice? I guess you could lay in a few soft drinks just in case he's a bit difficult.

Milk, an afterthought.

When its easy to do yourself why resort to these cowboys.

Sticking up for quick fit or Halfords at least they can swop your battery with out losing keys codes, such as your radio and saving you the trouble of getting a stuck holding clamp off.

I have bought batteries off Amazon and they are less, but however carefully I am with jump leads, I always lose the key codes and have to reprogram.

There is a gadget you can buy to keep the codes, but always check your manual for the radio code before you disconnect the battery.
