Reliable retailer and good price.

Firstly good price, and I'm not voting cold.... but.....

Big Bore Friction Shocks

The fact that they ar "big bore" is a bit irrelevant, if they don't have any oil in them (friction).
It always makes me laught when the word negative features in a way to make it sound like a great thing.

I would imagine they are oil filled - most are, though as usual I am probably wrong lol

I remember the original Kyosho Sandmaster, circa 1994. That was a nitro-powered buggy...

This seems like a decent enough deal, I like the look of this Sandmaster. I see there are RTR versions available for the same price but tbh, half the fun of radio-controlled cars is building them; buy the kit version!

Hi, is this the best car available for this money? if not could you point me the right way thanks.

I will let someone else answer that.

This is Deffo a good price though

The Tamiya bundle I posted above is good vfm, that's what I went for.

Ok thanks djjinx, are they similar speeds across the ground? want to get one which at least looks fast to impress my son lol.

What's wrong with Kyosho?

I have had about 10 cars in the past 15 years and the only one that still runs perfect to this day is my Kyosho Inferno DX II. Its a 1/8th scale .21 engine buggy. Even taken out of its resting place in the hut of 3+ years it will still start on the first pull.

I would say Tamiya is the worst I have ever had. Its just cheap plastic that breaks all the damn time.

I do agree with HPI though, very fun and well made parts.

Thanks for the heads up Thrall.

Dont know how this deal is so hot, as it's only a couple of £ cheaper than the normal price at all other stockists. Plus.....my experience of Time Tunnel is that they never have any stock.....yet still allow you to place an order.

The £99 Ready Set is fully assembled as well. This kit is basic and needs loads of hop ups to make it half decent.

The ready set is £117 after a battery and charger

Modelsport Combo Price: £128.41 (with 1800 battery 2.4Ghz Syncro RC System + Charger)
Kings Lynn Model Shop = £105 (without battery or charger)
If there is a better deal please share

Yes its basic thats why its for beginners, and who wants to buy a ready made one?? No fun in that!

You could buy this then upgrade the battery and it would still be good VFM?

And Time Tunnel are very good, just ring them and speak to them about placing an order!

No point in posting a deal for a beginner though, when it's not ready to run.

It's an OK kit and you can achieve some great results (as below), but it's not hot from me due to the stockist and only small price reduction:-

that's fine but if it's cheaper by a few quid then it's a hot deal no??

The deal link goes to a few choices not just this one

Also only ever heard good things about the seller??

I can confirm that these items are indeed in stock, although selling fast.

Looks like these now include a Free 2300mAh 7.2v battery & charger for £99... Here

Would be interested to know how this model compares to the XSTR for £80 (incl 1800mAh battery & charger): Here

Looking to buy 1 or 2 for 8yo & 6yo sons

I have just purchased this item and im really happy with the outcome. In exchange for £115 I got the charger upgraded and an additional battery, after searching around this deal seems to be the best by a longshot. I found the company very helpful and professional and would use again hope this helps anyone considering this deal.

Just to advise people looking at this offer, the kit car is now sold out. At time of wring (11:15 on Sat 8th Dec) we have one of each colour of ready to run. No more due in.

Can anyone recommend a kit like this looking to spend up to £130 tops

Also are build you own ones cheaper ? Than pre built
Anything to look out when buying thanks

Build your own are always cheaper

I bought this and its super fun!! Faster than I thought as well.
Swapped out the batteries for 3000mah ones and added the ballraces. Came to £160 delivered, I know its more than what you said but its worth every penny.

Look around for a preowned one if its not a present?? Seen some good Nitro ones on ebay for around £120
