Its a good price for the specifications, no doubt about that but I can't find a single review of the product anywhere, its on amazon at £170 by lenovo themselves but who knows if thats been put there just to make this deal look compelling. Not even any youtube reviews. Hasnt got a vesa mount either which is a tad disappointing.

@countcrackula

here are the reviews on Currys - link

Sale price has been £129.99 previously and was briefly a similar price last year with an eBay code - link to thread for comments hotukdeals.com/dea…365

thanks
Thanks chanchi32, very kind of you to find that, will have a look

Turns out it does have vesa mounting holes when looking at the currys pictures. Still not sure about the reviews, had a read through and most people that left one didnt sound like they had much to say about it except it was cheap, doubt the average shopper knows what to look out for or has anything to compare it to. If anyone here pulls the trigger wouldnt mind popping a quick review/overview up on YT I'd subscribe to your channel and patreon 😋

With no displayport, you won't be able to use freesync with an nvidia gpu, only AMD over HDMI.
I can't get it at £110

I got £144.49 with the code
yes. I just called lenovo and they say it's because it's out of stock. how does that make sense. if it's out of stock we shouldn't be able to get it for £144. strange.

Most dont work anyway, I have a £800 Samsung ultrawide with freesync, my 1080ti stutters continuous.
Have a £400 LG monitor in the office, tried that but stutters aswell.

A lot of monitors are similar and do not work, monitor manufacturers are very loose on the freesync standard, nvidia wont tweak their drivers to cover the monitor issues as they have g sync. AMD who have been pushing freesync have always fixed their drivers to implement the monitors using freesync.
So dont rely on freesync with your nvidia gfx
