HOT
Hot & ordered. Thanks
Reviews stopped me pulling the trigger, saved myself 2 trips to Argos I think.
Good price and heat added But you want something not open all the way round really otherwise the slightest breeze and your covered in smoke
Ordered,over four foot tall.

Oh yes can vouch for that. I have one of these and I have used It twice. It now sits on my patio rusting away which is mentioned in several reviews

Rusts like hell
Good price. Let's make this 100.
Surely you need one enclosed and ceramic for it to work properly? Otherwise it's effectively just a fire pit.

Honestly don't even bother buying one of theseYou will end up with a pile of rusting metal that looks terrible in your garden and by next summer it'll be in the local rubbish tip.
Buy a cast iron chiminea and it'll last you many years (mine is around 10 years old) and didn't cost much more than this deal plus it has the opening at the front to direct the heat forward.

Is yours all cast iron even the chimney? I ask as I have cast iron but steal chimney so I still pull it under cover after use(lucky we have a large canopy) then put the cover on it when cool otherwise the chimney bit will rust

Rusts like hell

Anything not 100% cast iron will rust, the trick is keeping it covered when not in use and cover as soon as you can when cool, can be tricky in British weather avoiding rain all together though..

It rusts after first use, covered or not

Then looks like something that belongs in a scrap yard

Yes the belly is cast iron and so is the lower 3/4 chimney section the final few inches of the cap and lid is steel but that hasn't rusted away because I suppose all the soot has protected it.
Mine was bought from B&Q about 10 years ago at the end of season sale and lives outdoors all year round the surface rust on the cast iron soon burns off when we use it again in the spring.
We once had a normal steel fire pit that was rusted beyond repair within 9 months so we now also use a stainless steel washing machine drum for the fire pit.

360 heat = 360 smoke. Avoid!
