Good deal. Heat added.
Not getting one as garden littered with barbecues, chimneas, fire pits that are used once a year if that. Prefer Domino's.

also available from Aldi at 99.99 from Thursday 26th may if that helps anyone being closer to there

Saw these when they came into Tesco. Staff were building it in the warehouse and to be honest, it looks like it would last one summer unless you are prepared to clean it after every use and store it in the garage (who does that ?)

Bought one excellent quality and makes better pizzas than any take away

That's some statement.

If you have to cook pizza outside just get a pizza stone for your bbq. Complete waste of time for me. Sorry. £100 down the drain. Having said that I would like a proper wood fired one!

My parents have had this oven for two years and it's still going strong, I've just bought one for myself. Great bit of kit.

Actually pizza stones aren't much good for decent pizza, you're actually a lot better off with a 0.6 or 0.8cm steel plate.

I'm not sure the Italians would agree.

Head over to YouTube and take a look. Steel is a much better material for cooking pizza.

Prefer Domino's.

Tip for pizzas I learned the other day (for those without a pizza oven):
- Heat oven to highest temp for 10+ mins
- Roll the base & fry on a high heat in a dry frying pan for 60-90 seconds until it's starting to rise
- Change the oven to the grill setting on a high heat
- Add the toppings
- Put in the oven, under the grill, for another 2 minutes until toppings done.

Gives amazing results, base is crisp and very slightly charred so it has flavour and keeps it's structure when eating, and the toppings are cooked to perfection.

Enjoy!

Is it a bit middle class trying too hard to cook pizza outside? Your gardens must be crowded, chimneas, pizza ovens, hot tubs, outside bar, trampolines for the 2.5.......... ;-)

Looks like a good price but £30 will buy you enough sand and clay to make a far superior pizza oven and you will have a heap of fun doing it have a look on google for clay wood fired oven, its easy, I've just made one myself.

Whilst there is nothing better than a wood fired pizza oven to really cook a pizza properly I looked up the pizza steel and the guys on seriouseats (who are to be trusted) raved about it over a stone. Looks like you've cost me £62 for a pizza steel!!

Just buy a bit of Stainless Steel plate off eBay cut to the right size. Then all you have to do is season it (easy!) and you're good to go: youtube.com/wat…zHA

Brilliant - I've emailed someone on ebay. Thanks a lot! Have you got one yourself? How do you find it?

What thickness of stainless steel did you get? Have a pizza stone that's next to useless, so will give the metal option a shot
