Just thought people should be aware that, even with the cartridge version of this game, you are still required to download a 14GB file of game data, so you are likely going to have to invest in an SD card if you already have other games download to your Switch's internal memory.

You should post it mate. You found them. Thanks though.

At least the Xbox One version too as Amazon haven’t matched them yet on that one.

Now this is more like the Switch pricing it should have been at launch. Hear from me, a great Christmas present for someone!

This game any good in 2017?
Switch is still suffering from that £3.99 Switch tax Very tempting at that price!

In my own personal opinion, I don’t think it was good when it released. Good price for those that do want the remaster though.
Nice price. Have ordered a switch copy. Although I have read it suffers from frame rate issues. But can't see this getting any cheaper before Xmas.

If you've never played it then yes. Personally played it to death on the ps3 so it's going to have to go sub £15 to tempt me. (especially as they added very very little new content and as a lot of reviews say the remaster doesn't look all that)

Loved this game and played it on the PS3. The Xbox version has been reduced as well, not sure why you did not add it? For those with an X gives you the best version.

Was waiting for it to drop price on the switch ordered !!! Thanks op
Bargain,

Tempted to get the Switch version, but the Fiancé is hooked on Zelda and I've got a bunch of games on my X1X

I'll see if it's still the same price next week and I might partake when she goes away for Xmas

It’s because when I posted the deal, the Xbox One version was still £30. It’s not because I’m up to something or have some sort of bias against Xbox.

Same. I want to give it another go and see if younger me just couldn’t appreciate it at the time.

It will be the first play for me. I avoided it when it originally came out, due to the issues widely reported on the 360 and PS3.

I'm sure the XB1 X will handle it nicely though, plus the benefits of enhancements and all DLC.

I think what didn’t help for myself at the time was the awkward wording when having to question witnesses. (Fixed in this release) Plus, it did seem to get a bit boring but like I say, tastes change with time and I may not have appreciated when I was younger. I never did play the dlc though. Probably didn’t help that I was really into Portal 2 around the same time too .

This annoys me with some Devs, they should be using 32GB cards to avoid this!

Yeah but Nintendo should be taking the hit on the cost. As they’re not it’s forced into the consumer to get an SD card

But Sony and Microsoft don’t foot the bill for production and distribution costs so why should Nintendo?

I’ve been forced to use an external hard drive on my PS4 as developers are getting too “patch happy” on those systems too.

Because blu ray discs are cheap AF. bespoke memory cards cost $$$.

And yet no one at Sony is paying for my external hard drive that I have been forced to buy due to these cheap blu ray discs holding data that I am forced to install on my system and their patches on top.

It’s an industry problem, not a Nintendo problem. You just hit that limit sooner on the Switch.

But if there is a way to get games on a bigger blu ray type disc then it’s cost will be higher so you find the same problem from previous generations - multiple discs.
The cost of the cards is too great and the devs don’t want to pay for it. Nintendo need so reduce the costs or levy them for the devs.

Love the switch but until the cards come down in price it’s going to be an issue. Heck the 64GB card has been delayed till 2019 by the sound of things, probably because no one is using the 32gb carts.

It doesn’t matter how many discs the devs use though, when you have to install every game to the PS4. 1tb isn’t enough storage on PS4 or Xbox One and we’re forced to foot the bill for bigger/external hard drives. It’s a problem on all the consoles these days. A new compression software is desperately needed.

It could be reduced on Switch once those cards do come down though. I have to wonder though, with say NBA 2K18 and WWE 2K18, do they really need all the data they claim to need to install or is a lot of it just bad development. (Although judging by the state of WWE 2K18, it absolutely is bad development.)

Hopefully Nintendo can reduce costs for the cards soon though. The issue does seem more of a problem when it comes to Take Two/2K on Switch though.
