Quite likely but it's unknown at this time of it will come to disc.
If you got LA Noire on sale then it's not too bad I guess, but at the same time games like Wipeout Omega, RE7 and No Man's Sky got VR upgrades for free.

True...but this is a different game to the flat screen version, rather than a vr update of it.
Looks great, but apparently the controls arent the best. I want to get it but will wait for a sale.

Ah okay, I thought it was just the same missions and story adapted for VR. Yeah same, definitely a wait-for-sale.

It has a few of the same case files, but also its own. It also adds boxing and races exclusive to the psvr version, apparently. And, by the looks of it, it's obviously been more work to bring to vr than say wipeout or Re7 which were pretty much a 'flip of the switch'...not adding anything other than perspective. Where as this adds all the interactions you expect from vr too. Definitely not like dirt vr....where they did want to charge you for a vr update.
Play the full game in VR?

I don't think RE7 was a switch flip, the engine was written specifically to be a PSVR exclusive at launch. Sony must have paid a lot for that as it has not come to PC VR.

Knew somebody here would jump on that - hence the quotations. I don't think it's easy. What I meant was pretty much what I said...it adds nothing to vr other than perspective. You're still using the controller. Still just as limited gameplay as the flat version...only now you can fall out of the cutscenes...because it wasn't designed to be a vr game.

This is different. More has gone in to bringing it to vr.

I get what you mean .. I guess I look at everything from a technical standpoint, so PS3 games, you hire a team of competent cheap developers to put a VR front end on. To me, yes when they add a few bells and whistles it's great

RE7 is asstounding from a point of being a fully fledged AAA PS4 game in PSVR using foveated rendering, possibly dark magic etc..

They couldn't even do this for Gran Turismo, so had to add a VR mode only (and I bet they spent a lot of effort trying).

So I guess I mean "technically" not a switch flip
