These are £117 retail at any GoOutdoors store when you use the Discount card.

But GoOutdoors have a promise that they will beat any price by 10% under certain conditions. These are mainly
1. Competing company has to be VAT registered in the UK
2. Have available stock
3. be the same size you are after (for shoes and clothing)
4. They must be able to check on a live website in front of you.

I found these on another website that fit all these conditions for £78, so I went to GoOutdoors and they beat the price by 10%. End result was that I walked away with a pair of climbing shoes that should of been £117 with my discount card and only paid £70.20 saving £46.80.

You can do this either over the phone, in store or by e-mail. I would suggest in store as you can physically present all evidence of your research.

You didn't save £46.80 you saved £7.80 as you yourself said you could have bought them elsewhere for £78.

I’ll say it again if it wasn’t as clear for some people. At GoOutdoors “End result was that I walked away with a pair of climbing shoes that should of been £117 with my discount card and only paid £70.20 saving £46.80.”

The e-trailer that we’re selling them at £78 only sell online and you would have to wait for delivery. I suggest doing this in store so you have the physical items.

At GoOutdoors I saved £46.80 because they reduced their price to beat another by 10%. If I wanted the same product to collect from the shop then it would of cost me £117. Instead I did research and got them reduced by £46.80
