I already have one and paid £25. Bargain and heat added.

Use OUTDOOR & it will fall apart in no time !!! - a lot of plastic. Good in the loft BUT you need a BIG loft !!! - worth a fiver if you must have one.

Bit early for the xmas sherry

This is a wide band low/ medium range antenna. Check your local transmitter band as wide bands are known for only fair performance. . Not brilliant in a loft setup unless the transmitter is reasonably close and unobstructed.

Looked really poor on top of my 60 inch plasma...so cold for me

Just bought one I am using a Philex 14DW Outdoor TV Aerial in my loft which picks up London signals OK they come in fare to strong though this has to work even better

They are usually aluminium

Probably the heat from the plasma melting the plastic.

Rubbish, I have had one of these mounted on my chimney for over 3 years, great aerial, good signal.

Indeed.

Hehehe I was waiting for that

Can anyone recommend a study outdoor antenna which has high quality signals to catch London programmes, and I don't mind spending good money.

Can anyone recommend a decent in loft ariel for a decent price?

I have to disagree here I have one fitted on a 3 meter pole above the house and it has lasted 1.5 years, through all sorts of storms when neighbors fences have been blown down this is still on top of the pole

I will agree it looks and fills like it is not up to the job but it is, mine is not even facing the correct angle as messed up, its about 10 degrees off but still get all channels and strong signals, I am on the fringe area as well.

When I purchased this they were selling for around £70 so this is a bargain
edit it was this one I purchased but looks the same high gain

3 years is hardly much of a lifetime for an aerial though, if it's still there intact after 20 years I'll be impressed. Given the cost of getting somebody to erect an external aerial I'd get a decent branded aerial; or take a punt on one of these in the loft.

Thanks, ordered for collection.
