Two fantasy style films filled with various Jim Henson creatures. In DARK CRYSTAL, a young Gelfing must find the lost shard of the dark crystal and restore order to the planet. In LABYRINTH, a teenage girl must rescue her baby brother from the trolls in the labyrinth after she wishes him away.

'Labyrinth' is a major fantasy feature film with a cast of incredible creatures created by The Jim Henson Creature Shop, and produced by 'Star Wars' director George Lucas. Starring rock legend David Bowie, who performs five original songs, 'Labyrinth' is the perfect family film combining music, adventure, comedy and fantasy. Frustrated with baby-sitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah - a teenager with an active imagination - summons the Goblins from her favourite book, 'Labyrinth', to take her baby step-brother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into the world of the fairy tale to rescue him from the wicked Goblin King (Bowie)! Guarding the King's castle is The Labyrinth itself - a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah will have to outwit the King by befriending the very goblins who protect him, in hope that their loyalty isn't just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems!

The Dark Crystal:
The Dark Crystal is a masterful live-action fantasy starring some of Jim Henson's most imaginative creatures ever! Directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz and produced by Gary Kurtz (Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back), The Dark Crystal brilliantly weaves a timeless myth of Good and Evil. In another time, The Dark Crystal, a source of Balance and Truth in the Universe, was shattered, dividing the world into two factions: the wicked Skeksis and the peaceful Mystics. Now, as the convergence of the three suns approaches, the Crystal must be healed, or darkness will reign forevermore. It's up to Jen - the last of his race - to fulfill the prophecy that a Gelfling will return the missing shard to the Crystal and destroy the Skeksis evil empire. But will young Jen's courage be any match for the unknown dangers that await him?

Nice one Andy.

Have loved Labyrinth since I was young. Seeing Dark Crystal when I was grown up was a huge disappointment though. I guess you really had to see that one as a kid to really appreciate it now.
