Biggus Dockus.

I don't care if it's a good deal, I just wanted an excuse to say Biggus Dockus.

10TB hard drive = £250 ish on the market
2 x £250 = £500 + a pretty looking case (£50) = £550 max.

I think if you pay anything over £600 it is overpriced...
I don't think @jimbb gets the joke, voted hot!

Nah, she's currently Incontinentia Buttocks so I'm steering clear.
In the voice of Paul Hogan...

Nah, that's not a hard drive... this is a hard drive...

I put together a 16TB Lenovo microserver for about £500... It has a processor to stream plex, automatically download, run pihole, run openVPN and windows/linux Virtual Machines.
This seems a bit much for the money...
Ordered.

I read about that a few days go. Samsung have crammed 1TB into one single chip and 9 controllers into 1 chip.

They'll double that next year.

Us poor mortals have to sell a kidney.
It's a blue HAL.

£50 is not going to get you a dual bay thunderbolt case.
Haven't looked thoroughly but they are usually at least £250 with many in the £400 price bracket.

Not justifying the price as it is excessive, but its not all Lacie, thunderbolt itself is expensive (due to licensing apparentyl).
Oooooooh, that's a Biggun !

Bought two, just to flash the cash
This isn't a deal

It's on par with the flamedeer "joke" posts people make.

Shouldn't that be Big blue HAL
It's not about the size of the dock, but how fast you can store things on it!
