I think it may have a light to indicate it's got power
I prefer mine with a shiny turbo button.

Well they've finally designed something that looks different!
Rubbish jokes aside what's he actual hard drive inside this? never heard of the "most talked about" lacie Porsche hard drive enclosure.
4TB for £89 - ✅
LaCie - Good brand - ✅
Nicely designed case - ✅
Porsche sort of branded -
‘Fast’ Drive marketing -

Overall good deal for a LaCie 4TB Drive. Shame about the marketing rubbish.

I would love to see 5Gb/s on a mechanical drive! That’s like having a motorway with no speed limit and your transporting your files in a 1.2 liter Corsa

Ow those pesky high speed connections vs physical limitations

Sadly I think they are Seagates Momentus drives - so no buy for me I prefer Toshiba, Ibm drives after all the firmware bug drive stop problems with the Barracuda 7200 especially when Seagate said it was confined to the Barracuda 7200 and yet I had many other Seagates with the same firmware issue - hate companies that blatantly lie to the consumer even after being found out - which is most of them!

Other than the SMR Technology, I recall someone else on here (be it a few Month's ago now), mentioning another alleged more 'superior' Technology to that of SMR ... (and in relation to Hard Drive Technologies too).

I forget what it is now, does anyone remember it?. :-)

Ps.
What are anyone's thoughts on this too:
