I fear today we are going to see every Argos watch that has even a sniff of a discount posted with the tag line, "Use Code JEWEL25 brings price down to £??.99". Time to turn off my HUKD alert for "watch".
lacoste are decent watches too. Made by Movado
Is that really only water resistant to 3m? If so, that would suggest that it's not really water resistant at all.

It's 5ATM or 50m, not 3m. Basically fine for splashes, dishes, washing hand etc. 50m is not suitable for swimming despite what most people would think. Although I know people who have no problems bathing/swimming with 50m watches. It's not advised and I wouldn't do it.
Purchased many thanks for post

I got a Boss Orange late last year but returned it after it kept on steaming up on the inside. Not impressed.

Supposse it means 50 meters of water pressure then not 50 metres deep?

Sounds like it had too much juice.
Not sure why the code works for this watch, it's only supposed to be for certain jewellery items, not watches. It certainly doesn't work on any other watch I tried. Maybe a glitch?

Edit: It does seem to work with other Lacoste watches marked as 'clearance'.

I believe it's meant to mean 50m deep, but the idea is like placing the watch in 50m of still water, so no movement or further force. But these are also hypothetical values, as these type of watches are not tested like ISO certifified watches. I have a few watches at 50m resistant, I definitely wouldn't swim with one. I'd happily swim with a 100m watch, although the only watch I swim with is my professional divers watch which is 200m

I never swim with any watch, who needs the time so badly whilst in the water? Plus, if it's a swimming bath, I've never been to one that's not got a wall clock.

Always buy ‘Hugo’ Boss original not Boss orange or Green.

I don't swim with a watch in any chlorine based water, it's not good for the seals. And as you said, most have one on the wall anyway. But for sea swimming it's pretty important to know how long you're out there/been in the water, and diving it's vital!
can someone please tell me, does this discount code work on the Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Canvas Strap Watch?
Good deal

How do you use the code when collecting?

You should just quote the relevant code (in this case JEWEL25) to the cashier before payment, but I have experienced problems before where the code would not work for the cashier. Best to pay now and collect instore, Argos hold your item for 7 days.
