Lagavulin Whisky - £35 instore @ ASDA

ASDA has reduced the price of this top top whiskey to 35 quid. Cheapest it has been for an age. 16 years old. Anything younger and you might as well drink teachers. Not for the faint hearted.

Pffft. We all know that teachers prefer the 15 yrs old age range.

They export them to france.

What a load of rubbish!

Thanks this is one of my favourites, just right for the cold winter ahead.

Plenty of good younger whiskeys

was there a cheeky little joke in there about a 15 year old and a teacher?oO

Quite nice, I prefer laphroaig (and its a bit cheaper) but this is a good price, even a bit cheaper than costco - heat added

Long way to go to pass a French oral exam!

lol at all the people missing the joke, I love this whisky though, one of my favourites, especially the Madeira cask distillers editions they do occasionally

Tastes like liquid sea-weed!

I haven't supped a whisky for a few years - in my heyday this was our drink of choice-

(we also enjoyed stronger drams - but for price this stuff is really good.)
