Just picked up 5 packs of Lagunitas' 12th of Never ale from Home Bargains yesterday & see that Heineken is the importer, for anyone else who didn't realise what this meant. Haven't seen it in Tesco for months now, it was £6 a 4-pack there, as opposed to £3.19 at HB, so I'm not complaining about Lagunitas' new image personally, just a shame its only occasionally in stock.

Heineken are the owner, bought out the small Californian craft brewery in 2017, fired 100 employees and forced the remaining to brew Newcastle Brown Ale for USA market. It’s a damn shame, the brewery was so cool I visited before the buy out.

Aaargh, forced to brew Nukey Brown...a few weeks of that & I bet they were begging to join the 100 guys who got sacked too!

Wasn’t a fan of 12th of never but liked the other one HB had in 4 or 5 months ago
