The first two in the trilogy drop to 99p about once a year, but i've never seen Domain (book 3) ever get a price drop. Shame.

The mutant white rat had grown and mated, creating offspring in its own image. They dominated the others, the dark-furred ones, who foraged for food and brought it back to the lair.

Now the dark rats were restless, tormented by a craving they could not satisfy. But the white slug-like thing that ruled them knew. Its two heads weaved to and fro and a stickiness drooled from its mouth as it remembered the taste of human flesh . . .

Magnificent book. But not as good as the other two in the trilogy (Rats & Domain) imho.
I did pick up the third book 'Domain' from the Kindle Store for 99p in Sept 2012. Yes, it's a while ago.
Fantastic trilogy. Heat.
I read this series about 30 years ago, still remember most of it today.

Brilliant books.
I read a lot of James Herbert books in my time.
Thanks. Was waiting for the price on this to drop on this as has bought both the Rats and Domain recently for 99p. Domain was on offer on 1st Match, or at least it was on Kobo , where I bought my copy. Read all these when I was a lot younger so looking forward to revisiting.

You're right, looking into it I see it dropped to 99p on Kindle a few months back. Really annoyed about missing that, but on a positive note, if it dropped in price once it will hopefully do so again.
One of my fav authors for horror, read all of his books. The Rats was read at a early age, and his description of the mother blew my mind. Might have read again.
Brilliant book. His latest books weren't very good though.
