Absolutely gorgeous cheese

Thanks !

The 400g Lake District Cheddar is on special for £1.94 in Morrisons at the moment too

It's an ok deal, though commercially slightly in favour of Tesco due to the bogof. It does commit you to a minimum spend of £4 on just cheese. Lidls last weekend were doing 600g mature cheese for £2.39 each with no need for a bogof.

Absolutely gorgeous cheese :)Thanks !

You have to be kidding!
Even calling this mature is a travesty! Like chewing a candle.

This is a dud in every way - there is only one I have found that's worse, and that's "Colliers"
Even Pilgrims Choice is ahead of this one, and that you can leave on mouse-traps without fear of it being touched!

None of the factory produced cheeses are exactly magnificent, but this one is as far from the taste of REAL cheddar as it is possible to get!

Plus, it's not even the cheapest, as it is only £1.94 for 400g at Morrisons, and you don't need to commit to buying so much at once to find how poor it is!

Wexford was still £3.69 for two slightly smaller 380g packs at Morrisons yesterday when I was in, it's not up to much compared to Davidstow or even Seriously Strong, that is often available on offers but it's slightly better than this and it's also cheaper @ £4.85 /kg!

Asda also have Cathedral City @ £3.99 for 2, also better, but not great

Looking online Tesco are supposed to have Seriously Strong at 2 for 4 quid anyway.
