Oh, another tumble water fed chicken breast.
What disrespect for life!

I'll stick to organic.

If they are tumbled in water, I'm guessing they are battery.
Thanks for the heads up though.

Ha, ha. Maybe OP should rename the thread 'Cat Food'.

i've bought these cheap before and you get what you pay for, they are pretty poor

I am always amazed that it is perfectly legal to
inject water into food products to bulk them up.
It should have been banned years ago.

Water injected pap

Had these loads of times & stock up when they're half price, nothing wrong with them at all!

not at our Tesco they haven't they are often £5.99 - but as often £2.99

Local butcher/farm sell fresh chicken breats for £1.99 lb. Excellent quality & better value than frozen water based chicken !

there always this price so really its a con
but still ok for 2.99

Seem to remember noticing they were from Chile or somewhere else in S America when they first came in to Tesco! Incredible how far they can shipo them and still sell them cheap.

Im not picky with food but these "fillets" are rubbish. They are small and really poor quality

They are not always this price, they're usually £5.99 but have them on offer quite regularly.
Cheers OP anyway, some right numptys on here! (H&R)

Numptys being people who care about how animals are treated or how their food is reared, or even just the blatant poor quality of the food. Voted cold.

They are always this price. You might aswell get the tesco value ones for £3.99 for a kg as it works out cheaper. Personally I'd rather not eat either if its been injected with water and preservatives to bulk it up.

Judging by your avatar you care more about animals than people, that picture is sick!

thanks - no one else seems to believe me when i said they are often £5.99 !

These are vile. I didn't think it was possible to 'mess up' a chicken breast but honestly.....

I have had these twice now - I know, I know, I forgot after the first time - and they are truly revolting. Very plastic-y taste for some reason (yes I did take them out of the packet)
