Yes I spotted this on Friday, but on checking ingredients found it was only about 90% chicken. Crazy stuff..10% bulking agent I'd rather not have in my cooking (remembered seeing a tv programabout this where they inject the chicken breasts with glycerol, water, sugar, salt etc...was pretty grim). Some people don't seem to be bothered about that kind of thing though.

I've never seen them at 5.99!

i see where you are coming from but to be fair most of the stuff they put in comes out through the ccoking process anyway as they are there to look meat more presentable as a raw product so fine to eat if you look at the ingreadience you should find most of the stuff in there in alot of everyday household foods without anyone going dont want that in my house cause theyu expect it in that food lol voted hot cause good price and better quality than you would recieve in branded restaurants good find.

Title is wong it's not 600g of chicken it's about 500g of chicken - rest is filling agents etc

Cheepy chickin  HOT price

HALF PRICE Was £5.99 Now £2.99 - valid from 05/05/2009 until 26/05/2009 ;-)

Yes I thought the same when I defrosted it!

i bought these once and cooked one from frozen not realising you had to defrost them first.
I was probably tired or something...didn't kill me though

This "offer" has been on going for months.

Totally with you on this one.

Good price, so I won't vote it cold, but there's no way I'd buy the things, and definitely no way I'd feed them to my kids.

haha in that case im going to stop shopping in ikea.

Is this chicken any good. Do they still inject a solution of water, salt, and sodium phosphat into each chicken to weight it out.

This is why i stopped buying frozen

Cold.

You can get 800g Frozen Chicken Breast Fillets from Aldi for £3.99 and
there all chicken no added crap.

I agree - They're pretty awful and tatse very salty. Also I've never seen them at less than 2.99 or full price but BOGOF. When I bought them on BOGOF I took the second pack back because I thought they tasted awful and was told they can't take back frozen food because "they don't know how customers have stored them". The Customer Services Assistant said "How about cooking them and giving them to your dog?" I said "I don't have a dog and wouldn't even wish them on a dog.:x"
