Any idea if UK or newzeeland?

Although not on offer online, it says British Lamb Shoulder, so assume instore as well for the offer.

And according to their website they only sell British meat at the counter

Picked one up to slow cook and braise in a Dutch oven on Sunday, just says Lamb Shoulder on the sticker from the butchers counter, on my piece, I got.

Can not beat a bit of cold shoulder, Sweet have some
I haven't had lamb for years,I'm the only person able to eat in my home so I haven't had it for years, must say I've only ever had a leg of lamb.
Is this easy to cook, does it have to be slow cooked and does it cut nice off the bone?

slow cook on low heat in the oven, 5-6 hours, it's lush!
lots of rosemary and garlic.

Shoulder is the best cut. Tastier and easy to carve. Cook as normal but with a 10-20 Blast of high heat at start or end if you like crisp skin.
Last time I got it, it was mostly inedible fat. Very disappointed

This is the recipe I am doing Sunday, turns out nice in the oven and the leftovers work well in a stew the following day. They also have a great Kleftico recipe on that page, I use, that works well with Lamb Shanks if just cooking for yourself or a leg of lamb or shoulder if for more than 1
+1 for lamb shoulder > leg. This is a good recipe as it slow roasts over boulangere tattys at the same time

Long, slow cooking on a lowish heat should render out most of the fat and leave very moist, delicious meat. Welsh lamb is superb over the winter.

Slow cook, in a Dutch oven or casserole preferably. So much nicer than leg and falls off the bone.
That labels says BRITISH SPRING LAMB
Is this diced or like a joint? I was looking for a good cut for a casserole.

Thanks
