Cut little pockets and put a garlic clove in each. Roast long and low, 6 hours minimum. The meat will just fall off the bone. .... Heaven.

Don't forget the rosemary along with garlic, cracked black pepper and sea salt to top it off.
I bought a lamb shoulder from Tesco recently. It was 99% fat so I got one meal out of it and threw the rest away. Be careful what you buy!

On a bed of boulangère potatoes.

Asda selling New Zealand on offer!
Great pric e but leg is SO much better.
Im doing this this afternoon on the weber rotisserie . Cheers.glad kids have snow day now
as well as the rosemary springs in the little pockets get a tin of anchovies in oil and put these in the little slits they melt away so dont worry if you dont like them, like my hubby as they just melt away but leave a lovely salty taste behind

uugggh! poor mans Dauphinoise - the lamb would be wasted ( i'm pulling your chain... )
anything home cooked would be brilliant - while the the garlic and rosemary are out - if you think you have no cooking skills just toss your roasties in the same herb mix (use plenty )

Who's expired this one? Could potentially be £4/Kg in some Morrisons that hasn't sold out of the older stock and is still in date, and despite the stated expiry date, although it is now becoming less likely. The clue is there though, in the SEL in my store saying "PRICED" rather than stating a price. In my view people should stop expiring items merely because they see them at full price in their Morrisons store - even if you only have full price stock because your store has shifted all of its older stock, some of the offer priced stock is likely to be available to someone else in their store.
