Not a bad spiced rum i reckon, very much like the old recipe Sailor Jerry and Old J rums. If that's your bag.... although maybe not the strongest spiced rum at 30% Vol

it's usual price is £14, so not an earthshattering deal, but nonetheless at 12 sheets i thought it was a bargain so bought a couple for xmas

online and in-store

Don't care about heat etc, (unless something has recently changed and we get paid for heat we get? there's a thought hukd)..... otherwise just a heads up..... i mean bottoms up! arrrr

offer ends 4/12

Long time fan of Lamb's dark. Might have to pick this up, thanks OP!

This is a million miles away from lambs navy rum. This one is very very sweet. Intense toffee/caramel flavour. Not saying it's bad, I like it. Just saying you need a sweet tooth to enjoy it.
Not for me.
Sweeter and not as strong as other spiced rums.
Personally, Morgan's spiced or the Kraken are a much better bet

Not for everyone, 30% more than enough for me, i've had many spiced … Not for everyone, 30% more than enough for me, i've had many spiced rums, however alcohol content is of little concern to me, if i want to get smashed i wouldn't even be drinking rum at all. I enjoy rum for the taste of it not for how drunk it can get me in one shot.Morgans spiced is tastless imo, and Kraken is a bit different but much more expensive than this, actually you would get drunk quicker drinking this at £12 per bottle than you would with the slightly stronger but more expensive kraken, so this makes zero sense

What are you talking about?
If my concern was getting drunk, I'd be on the rot-gut cider.
The strength determines one layer of the taste, that alcohol "burn" or "kick" if you like. If you like this stuff, almost completely devoid of that particular sensation (and any that is there is completely overrun by the excessive sweetness) then you crack right on.
This is not a competition.
I stated a fact that this is sweeter and less strong than other spiced rums.
Therefore, those that prefer a stronger or less sweet rum would know this is maybe not for them.
That, after all, is the primary purpose of this site and the chat threads; to bring people's attention to bargains out there, and then to offer advice/reviews/preferences so as to help others make up their minds whether to purchase them or not.
Don't take people's opinions on a product as a personal dig, or get so precious about deals you've posted.
Thanks for the post, this is a good deal, but it's not for me.
Nothing wrong with Morgan's Spiced and Coke, it's a good drink. I certainly wouldn't mix any of my decent rums with Coke, or anything else for that matter.
Bored now........
