My asda only stocks the low fat version
good stuff
Same at Tesco, the last time I was there?
Same in Iceland too
Same in Asda and Tesco at the moment
As a Yorkshire man I find this deal offensive...
Nice but I prefer to make my own yoghurt at home. 1 bottle of milk (2.3L) for £1 Is more than enough to make more than 2 1kg pots of yogurts without any additives.
I think this brand almost taken the yogurt market. Every single guy I ask buy this brand.. quite good market reach

I take your point, Harish, but Lancashire Farm Natural Bio Yogurt is strictly made with 100% free range cows whole milk and 'bio live' cultures. It has no artificial flavours or colours. Being a yogurt addict, Lancashire Farml Bio Yogurt is the best yogurt you'll find in supermarkets and among the cheapest. What's puzzling is it is mainly found in the 'World Food' section in most supermarkets.

As a favour, could you tell me how you make your yogurt?

Have you tried Lidl Greek style I think that tastes better but at £1 this is cheaper that's £1.35 for 1kg.

I agree, although I like making it at home and have a yogurt maker but due to time constraints and health issues this is the best option. Just bought 3 buckets from Iceland £1 each

Easiest way too make it at home is buy a yoghurt maker, and after you have used up the sataches buying these is expensive so kinda pointless too use these that come with itjust use them at first, when they finish just boil the milk cool it down and add 2-3 spoons of the yoghurt you like like this one and put leave in the yoghurt maker for around 4-6 hours and should be ready. Or if you don't want buy anything you can try and keep the Temperature around 35-40c for 4-6 hours and will get the yoghurt in any other type of container ceramic is good.
Hi
Easiest way to make yogurt is to boil the milk, let it cool for approx 30 minutes and then mix it with a 1 1/2 spoon of yogurt. Put that in a pot (I use Lancashire tubs), wrap the tub with a towel and leave it in a dark place for about 7-8 hrs.
Perfect homemade yogurt ready. I normally do this every night before going to bed.
I eat with porridge oats and prunes every day, cheap, easy healthy breakfast. H x

Do you Boil it, I thought people used Cold milk and added the yoghurt..Like 1 TBSP and then as you say warm place overnight...?

How much quantity of milk do you use for 1.5 Tsp Yoghurt please

Yes, you have to boil the milk and then let it cool down a bit and then add pour it in to the pot with little yoghurt. After that wrap it with towel/ any cloth and let it be there for fermentation for 7-8 hrs.
Nothing new this has on offer for about 2 years or more

As a Lancastrian I very happy indeed as I’m sick of seeing Yorkshire Tea in Lancashire.
For those who buy loads of the stuff Makro/Booker sell the 5KG tubs of Greek Yoghurt for 5.99

It's not bio though. Bio makes me feel noble and I show off a bit when I eat it
Is this what they eat in the nick!.....Sorry that’s Lancaster Farm.
Or if you want more control over the temperature make it in a Themos flask.
Also can be made with any type of milk from powdered to whatever.
I also make my own . Heat 3 pints of milk until just before boiling. Leave it to cool for 30 to 40 mins.
I use an insulated tub with a lid. Add the milk and 2 tablespoons of natural yoghurt to this. Give it a stir and then put the lid on. Leave for 5 hours and then it should be set

I often buy a paint tin of low fat Greek from Lidls. It's really tasty.
