Based on 8k per year, 6 months upfront and 23 payments of £254.81. Slightly more expensive than the last deal posted, but no admin fee charged on ordering. No affiliation, just seems like a decent deal.

If you think you will do approx 10k per year, pick the 10k box as it works out approximately 50% cheaper to do this than pay the excess mileage rate!

I love reading the comments in car deal posts..
I actually think some fair comments have been made in this thread...

"Look at me" - very true...except it is a "look at me - I'm in a Range Rover"...will look good on the outside, but least powered, 2wd and manual..... just about as low spec as can be purchased

"underpowered" - true

"unreliability" - again very true, just about the most unreliable brand money can buy, however service is excellent when things (as they often do) go wrong.....except you may have a long wait to get a dealer appointment to fix it, as they are so busy fixing every car ever built! And whilst this is a "new" Evoque….it still has plenty of the old unreliable parts with lots of new tech that will also go wrong.

Now just to add some balance - I'm a long standing Land Rover customer, who despite all the above very much loves the brand (and I'm not bragging) gets the full fat versions of their cars. I do buy (not lease) not because of the "bragging rights". We buy them knowing the above because they are often a nice car to be in, even broken down by the side of the road, to my eye often look great, have fabulous customer service, are very capable and practical, especially in 7 seat versions.

I'm not a fan of anything from Germany or Japan automotive wise, and like the luxury feel JLR have and need the versatility of 5+2 seating (not the Evoque)

Would I recommend you buy (lease) one....? Well only if you are buying the right one and can see past the many shortcomings.....that's why other brands exist....go get one of those if you feel you need a car for bragging rights only!

True, and a nice car - but that's 50% more per month than this deal!

I test drive the 150 and it seems underpowered.
It's R-Dynamic, not R Design. It ain't a Volvo!
shame it's manual
Also you may as well opt for the 3+23 option for the same total price.
Manual cars are so yesterday, good deal but not for me

Some people don't enjoy changing gears. And think it is old fashioned.

Pointing out that automatic gearboxes aren't a new invention seems pointless.
Very much a "look at me" car. Most reviews comment on the lack of space and grey driving experience. However that's not to say the car wasn't designed for that role etcetc but the 11 sec 0-60 time from 150bhp really puts me off. However I think the deal is good compared to the PiD so some heat from me

It doesn't do a very good job, they seem to be everywhere and to me are boring to look at.
Was voted most unreliable brand!

Was voted most unreliable brand!

I'll disregard that there is no reliability index on this new model yet. However, it's a brand new vehicle. If anything goes wrong with it during the term of the lease, you simply go to the dealership and getting it fixed for free and a loan vehicle.

Well, it is something to bear in mind. JLR do have a dreadful reliability record. In the Which annual survey, four out of five of the most unreliable cars were made by JLR.

At least it is a lease and in warranty then. All you have to worry about is the taxi ride.

Some, sure.

Some people enjoy driving and spending less fuel though.
All the time people accept unreliable automobiles, then the manufacturers will keep on making them....Lemmings, that is what comes to mind....Lemmings.
JLR must love the British public, so readily accepting of such sub-optimal automobiles.

I don't see what a small rodent has to do with what car people drive.

Prove it
Good deal. I have this engine (D150) in the E-Pace and I was aware some folk liked to criticise it before I bought it. So, I test drove it multiple times and I wouldn't call it in any way underpowered. Then again, I've got no interest in bombing down motorways at over 100mph and feel that compared to the D180 and above (which I also test drove), it was one of the most refined.

I love my E-Pace which has given me zero issues after plenty of miles and is a very nice car to drive. Evidently, given the ridiculous and off-the-charts stupid level of criticism it gets, I did not buy it for bragging rights - I bought it because it was one of my favourite cars to drive and I'm completely fed up with anything from VW/Audi/Merc/BMW these days.

Fine if you don't need to go anywhere... like work! Fine if you like being stuck on a (now non-existent) Motorway hard shoulder risking life and limb waiting for recovery.

Getting a replacement car is a song and dance at best, at worst, impossible.

I have had my fill of unreliable cars over the years. Reliability is my biggest priority with a car.

Just shows how bland it is.
Gents. My mileage rate is 4.6p when taking lease with 8k allowance on incoming agreement.
Probably will exceed it by 2k anyway so simple calculation approx £100. When I asked them to increase allowance to 10k they asked for extra £9 a month. Would you keep pay less a month and get charged for exceeding on the and or agree to pay more for 10k. Thanks

Actually it’s 10.5 seconds 0-62
Thought this was Hot deals not Top Gear. Good deal
Is there any good sites for automatic transmission lease deals?
Cheeky
Absolute chav car now unfortunately.
Comes with a free parking space at the dealership. You'll be back once a week to get it fixed. Best of British
Just buy a used car for £600. You will save £6500 over two years. Thank me later.
