Thought this was a proper bargain for a cast iron BBQ . Use code TD-GLTD to buy at this price.

The Landmann 34cm round barbeque features a cast iron bowl and cooking grill. It can also double up as an outdoor heater/log burner and you can adjust the height of the cooking grill. Very good customer reviews too.

* Cast Iron Fire bowl.
*Cast Iron cooking grill.
*Height adjustable cooking grill.
*Wooden Carry Handles.
* Cooking Area (cm) 34

I've had one of these for about 12 years (was about £10 from pound stretcher) it went rusty pretty much straight away but paints up luvly and it does make a good outdoor log/wood burner too

Small family?
Been using one of these for several years and it's still going strong.
These are good. Have 2 in that I bought on separate occasions in the past. Mainly to take with camping. But paid less than this for them. One cost £5 from Morrisons at the time

I expect you'll find these will come down in price a bit more towards the end of the season.

What is your opinion on the handles? A lot of the reviews comment on the weakness of the handles....

Thanks.
Good price, i dont have bbqs all the time so i dont see the point in spending more, normally just buy the throw away ones but they are useless at cooking food and sometimes dont light.

@dybydx

The handles are flimsy. It’s just a piece of round wood with screwed at both ends and usually not centred properly so the wood splits. They are pretty much there for decoration.

Also don’t move it when hot and line the top part where the coals go with tin foil. Helps the cooking process and makes getting the ash out a doddle.

Besides that it looks small but you find the heat is concentrated and as such all the food gets cooked evenly and you can turn around a lot in a short space of time.

The handles are still attached to mine and its been left out over winter sometimes. They are weak I will admit but I don't carry mine around or move it when its in its usual position. The grill handles are stronger for its purpose but that's not left out in all weathers. I would imagine if any thing was to break on these BBQ's it would be the handles to go first, it is its weak spot

The handles on mine have had no problem but I have treated them to a bit of oil each year, that protects them from the weather and splitting. Even if they did go I'd just replace them with an appropriate bit of hardwood dowel, old broom handle or similar.

Thanks op, ordered one this morning, only cost me £2 as i had a £10 survey voucher to use.
morrisons have similar ones reduced to 12 quid too....
Out of stock now :-( Too slow!
