Seems like a great deal this, £62.99 (plus £7.99 delivery) for a Landmann two burner gas barbecue using the code SAVE10.

It looks like it may have just licensed the name out, as this one is pretty straightforward and no frills. That said, just more than £70 for a two burner is pretty good anyway.

There is a 10% off code to make it £70.98. Just bought one.
Heat added, I ordered this on Sunday and it arrived yesterday, good quality. First use will be tonight so can update on how it goes.

What is the code?
I bought one of these a couple of years back and the ignition burnt out on the first cook.
We've got this Landmann but the Lava Rocks version and it has been a cracking BBQ for the price we paid. Lasted us so far about 8 years. Heat
What is assembly like? Please let me know
Would this gas barbecue be better than the one in Argos?

I would appreciate your thoughts!

That's the same thing I wondered about. The last gas bbq I got took an age to assemble.

£70 good price plus the extras you'd need... Gas about £50 including deposit then rocks and bits and pieces, about £150 all in sounds fair.

I'll buy if the assembly is under 2hrs

Easy assembly, not too much effort at all.

It looks fairly similar to be honest. I have one of these and it said 30 minutes assembly but it was a slog. I think it is pretty much the same version as the Argos one, albeit without the gas ring and a windowed hood.
Bought one of these about 4 years ago and it really has been the best BBQ. Put it on full flame for 30 mins turn it down and most things cook in around 30 to 40 mins. Easy to clean and side bits come off for easy storage. Defo recommend these

Rocks and bits and pieces? What other extras would you need apart from the gas?
Can you add lava rocks to this?

Can you add lava rocks to this?

Found this on the product page:

"I purchased the Landmann BBQ to replace our old well worn BBQ, although it didn't come with lava rocks my husband adapted it to use with lava rocks. It is the same base as our previous Landmann BBQ. We have used the new BBQ a few times now and are really happy with the food cooked on it."

I think by fiddling they mean removing/lowering the the plate above the burner. As you need evenly distributed heat across the lava rocks.

Lava rocks, tools and bits n pieces
Has anyone managed to order it keeps coming up with delivery errors , tried abut 5 times on different browsers
Paid £29 for this exact same BBQ a few years ago (was end of season sale from B&M ) Dont think its worth £70 though !
I've just binned our lava rock version of this, the bottom has fallen out with rust. Perhaps i should have taken it back to Aldi to complain as we've only had it 12 years.

This.
I paid £25 at Tesco's a couple of years back. It's worth £25-£40. Has been sold at £50 as the usual price in previous years at Tesco's. (I got it Reduced to Clear at the end of BBQ season as not enough people bought them at £50....) I wouldn't rate it at £70. Maybe it's the COVID times for this price? Cold from me.

Does the job! Other half said "not as much fire as the last one (Argos 3 burner job) but maybe that's a good thing?" The burgers cooked well, peekaboo window is a good feature. It took about 40 mins to put together, pretty straight forward.
SAVE10 not working for me?

Shops definitely have put prices up. But then they probably will be cheaper at the end of summer as always.

No

You can if you take the burner guard off and put a smaller grill underneath the cooking grill. Not that difficult really.

They agreed not to self promoted most probably, still showing on the suspended list in discussions for it. Sad that as soon as companies get reinstated the editors post deals without mentioning it.
JTF Customer service is nonnexistant. No phone number, no reply to emails regarding a missing item, no reply on twitter.

I dont like roundabout ways, having deal editors post first just makes looks like its a partner deal. Many of us dont bother with editor posts any more as it looks like adverts in just another way. Nothing against you, its been talked many times in the path that its not an advert but if it walks like a duck.....

Edit Dan confirmed they are partners

It's not a BBQ. It's an outdoor grill as it runs off gas. Cold just for the blasphemy
