A proper bbq. Think I’ll get this, so cheers. I’m not a fan of the £400 gas ones that belong in the kitchen, as opposed to the garden

I bought mine from wilko for £15 but without wheels and it's exactly the same.
Not bad for 2 wheels
tiny mind.
With weather resistant wheels and side handles

what's wrong with calling things plastic?
Had a very similar one in asda for £20 also if that helps anyone.

This is basic, the bottom thingy keeps falling out, colours fade quickly and rusts a bit (not massively), but hey, for 20GBP you cannot expect anything else. If you are for a cheap BBQ, this is for you!

You can get starter chimneys which work well - but maybe a little large for this BBQ and close to the same price.

Personally I'd avoid the turps and white spirit suggestion.
Actually went to Wickes to buy but the height’s only 72cm. It just felt a bit teeny.

Aldi are selling chimney starters for £5 - that would be your best bet. You don't have to buy any starts or fluid etc, as long as you have some paper (newspaper will do!).

Just put the coal in the chimney, scrunch up some newspaper and stuff it at the bottom, light, wait 20 mins or so then dump the white hot coals onto your BBQ to begin BBQ delightfulness.

Happy BBQ'ing.
Thanks for this, I picked one up this morning. Perfect for the first summer in my new home. I will eventually make a custom oil drum BBQ but this will do me for now

Top tip this^
I replaced my 2 year old much smaller chimney for the Aldi one which is a great size, really well made and has a secondary handle for pouring the coals out without burning yourself. Proper job.
