Cheap Gas BBQ - plenty in stock near me. Seems to be 70 - 80 Elsewhere. Not sure of quality but will do for this year at least!

Great BBQ had ours 2 years and used it lots.
Nice find @SkipFeeney
Good BBQ. Had ours for a couple of seasons and no problems. We do now have a hope that has developed in the drum - but it stills works. For £50 and the facts that’s it’s a gas BBQ, you can’t really go wrong. The side panels are very flimsy though and will likely bend/break.

Very flimsy, had it few years ago. It broke down after few uses.
great price thanks
This was the price we paid from Morrisons are couple of years ago and to be honest, for it to last a few summers and still be absolutely fine it was a great price.

One of the clamps came out for the lid but it was easily fixed. For £50 it was a great purchase. Thanks @SkipFeeney
Absolute rubbish, the grill mesh kept falling inside when I tried to cook, took it back for a refund next day.
Had this two years. For that price its spot on. I paid 30 for mine as got it cheap through work. Id recommend it for that price all day long
Had one similar for several years and it works fine- only reason it needs replacing is due to
my neglect. Will happily replace with this model which is pretty much the same. Thanks op

Had the exact same issue with mine but you can use metal wire to to tighten either side of the grill to the BBQ itself , I got mine for £30 which at that price point I were fine with having to tie the grill in place to prevent it slipping, £50 is a good price but at 50 id say spend a pinch more and go for a slightly better one.
FANTASTIC... Got one of the in Lidl back in about 2007 - great control and have used it every year - my neglect has led to the burner rotting and now has a couple of holes where it has rusted .

Yes it wobbles
Yes it won't last 20 years
Yest its cheap
But it ruddy works a treat
Even though I’m caveman an prefer coals etc I love the ease of use and control of gas especially given our hit an miss weather - great find!!
I got one can't complain good enough for price.

Have you tried lava rocks? I was the same re coal but after trying my dads I am now converted.
No but I’ve heard of them and I’ve ate from the fires of Mount Timanfaya Tenerife where the food tasted amazing so imagine it will be good. So basically you put lava rocks on and the gas fires/heats those?
Can you put lava rocks in this?
This is a good brand. Heat from me!
had mine TWELVE years - it's still going - just replace the lava rocks from time to time
Mines lasted about 5 years, bought from Aldi for £45.

Gonna try that coal thing technique to get an authentic bbq rate. Just like grilling it at mo
Does this come with a regulator?
Got mine for £25 at the end of last summer, works well enough but a bit flimsy
Have had this for a couple of years very good, cooks the stuff perfectly!
Does it take lava rocks, please?
Checked on landmann website and it appears this does NOT take lava rocks. They sell a lava rock tray for their lava rock compatible versions, which says “not for use on 12375FT”
...not sure of the difference, mind.
I built mine today - first impressions was its very flimsy but looks good and great tasting food!

Be aware, I had a 13kg Gas bottle which doesn't fit in the unit, its too big so had to leave it standing at the side. It comes with a gas regulator - it fitted the bottle fine.

I've used a combination of lava rocks and penroc coals. 2 boxes of each, the penroc coals are a lot flatter then Lava rocks so fit between the grill rack and the flame disperse thingy.

Thanks for your comments. How's the food taste compared with coal BBQs?
