I think I'm right but the same item at Amazon is £24.50 delivered
amazon.co.uk/Lan…1XG
nice find, it is the same item
Who cares, it's £27, just buy another next year instead of wasting whole day cleaning the damn thing.
I care and so do many others, I'm sure, who don't have your cavalier attitude to waste.
Not worried about rusty rivets, stainless replacements are easy enough.
Ha ha, you sound just my son/daughter, it boggles my mind their attitude to money & food
It boggles my mind why would anyone waste entire afternoon cleaning old and rusty barbecue that's worth less than you'd earn in the time spent on it. Those sub-£30 bbqs are usually poor quality and don't last long anyway, so just treat it as a disposable one or spend a bit more on something that will actually survive one season.

I beg to differ......12 years in the garden and still going stong
It was a whole day... now it's a whole afternoon... soon it'll be down to ten minutes and all will be sweetness and light.
Lucky you - you've got one without rivets etc that rust. It's not the same as the one in the offer so the one in the offer may be like yours or may be like mine, which didn't survive nearly so well.
There is no reason this wont 'survive' one season, cleaning isnt that hard, unless elderly or disabled, having somewhere to store/shelter would be even better
Strange, I ordered it from Amazon for £24.50 delivered and it doesn't have any rivets...
I saw the Aldi one priced at £29.99 but it was their own brand, not Landmann (although it's quite possible that it is the same product, but re-packaged in an Aldi box).
Not even as the pivot point for the lever at the bottom?
They may of course have used folded seams and spot-welding to eliminate the rest, in which case that's Good News.
Maybe the Amazon one is a different model because it doesn't have a lever, it just has a removable ash tray at the bottom of the pedestal.
EDIT: The Tesco one doesn't appear to have a lever at the bottom, either.
ok for just burgers etc
