Seems like a bargain to me been waiting for an upgrade on me £30 beauty. I think this was in b+m and it looked really solid if its that one. The height adjustment is amazing.

Just bought the Weber on offer from Go Outdoors but this seems a great deal too. Heat added, thanks OP.

Cancelled our BBQ from very to get this. Saved £15. Heat added

Gas Station maybe? joking apart I have this and as far as I am aware this only works with charcoal. It is a great BBQ had it 4 years now, rock solid but be aware very very hard to build on your own, its a 2 person job, trust me....

Your right it is just charcoal not gas, although I prefer charcoal as it gives you the BBQ taste and gas doesn't, thanks for the tip on building it.

Hot deal. Although it was Was slightly cheaper at the end of last year (£70). Still hot as it's half price at the start of spring summer, so haven't had to store it for 6 months

any way to avoid/reduce the £7.50 delivery charge?

seems Tesco have a delivery saver option (where you can pay as little as £36/year for free delivery) and it comes with a free 1 month trial. I take the trial and possibly cancel.
luckily I had £17 worth of vouchers too so costing me £58 in effect.

bit the bullet on this one. looking forward to trying it out this weekend.

Mine too.
Although there is something slightly amusing about BBQs being fire damaged, I'm also hoping Tesco don't cancel. Tesco's email on Thursday apologised about the fire and simply stated their Customer Service would be in touch.

Mine didn't get delivered either, had a phone call to rearrange delivery but not until May 3rd.

Please let me know if you receive your order. I ordered two weeks ago for delivery on Friday 21st April then after the depot fire it was put back to this Wednesday (3rd May). Had a phone call this afternoon from Tesco CS saying all their remaining stock is too damaged to send out to customers and Tesco has no stock left. Tesco have sent me an email setting up a stock alert and then I'm to contact them if they get anymore stock. Not great so far.:(

Thanks for replying.

Two hours ago I had a stock alert email stating the BBQ was back in stock. I rang Tesco CS who kept me on hold for a few minutes whilst they talked to their manager. I was then told the original order was cancelled and as the BBQ was now £150 a 'moneycard' needed to be raised to cover the £75 difference. I asked why it was so complicated but didn't get a logical response. The CS woman has just rang me back to confirm the earliest delivery is date is Thursday 11th. It's been quite an ordeal to get this 'half price' BBQ but, barring another fire or natural disaster, I'm hopeful of receiving the BBQ around a month after I originally ordered it!

Fingers crossed

A month after ordering, the BBQ finally arrived!:D Took about an hour to build at a steady and careful pace. Seems exceptionally sturdy and well made at it's rrp of £150 but at £75 it appears to be a bargain. Ease of use and longevity will be the true test.

Now going to buy a 'premium' cover that will look decent, fit well and keep the BBQ dry so I can leave it outside and make more use of it until it's wheeled into the garage around October. Looking at the Landmann premium cover that's a bit pricey but should do the job. It's around £32 plus £3 postage from a few online retailers but John Lewis have it for £35 with free collection from Waitrose with the benefit that if I'm not happy with it JL will take it back without issue.

Big thanks to the OP. Here's to a BBQ summer!8)

Nice bbq isn't it. It's massive!! Be able to feed the 5000 with this thing lol!
