My wife is Danish, we have been together 10 years tomorrow per chance and I should really learn a bit of the language, but of course we are in the UK so we speak English. Could be worth a try. I only know some food words and how to swear. You have to get your priorities right.
Mercy Bowcoop!
Heat, thank you
Heat added Thanks
Thought this would be a fab idea to
keep my son refreshed on his Spanish whilst not in school! 💖 heat added 🔥 xx
Thanks for sharing. I’m trying this but it seems very weird to start with audio conversation without any subtitles or text. Very difficult to learn a brand new language with a full conversation (even if it is simple greetings asking how the family is). I would have thought you start with basic numbers or something. The flash cards don’t seem any easier. I might try another language but the first one I started with doesn’t seem encouraging. (Heat nevertheless. Just thought maybe I’m using the website wrong.)

I think it depends on two factors:
- Not all the courses are the same quality. I read many reviews also from people who have tried it for multiple languages and they said that some courses were done better than others.
- Your learning method. Each one of us have a different way in which we tend to memorise and learn, especially languages I'd say, so maybe this is not the right method for you.

I would recommend you try a few different apps/sites at the same time so you can learn from both places, maybe through a vocabulary app (like duolingo or memrise) and LanguagePod101 you can get the best benefits
