Does anyone know what the light colour output is for the warm white versions?
IE: 3000K or 2700K

For if you don't want 10 go to Poundland

Non dimmable. So not a deal. 1 for £1 at poundland.

I'd go for these over poundland ones, for the warranty if nothing else.

Great price, but remember, the beam angle on these are only 36 degrees, so they are spot lights, not to be used to try and light up a whole room. Also, they aren't very powerful, only 230 Lm.

Very poor deal, these Wickes ones are much better, 345lm and only £9.90 for 10, also available in a metallic grey finish for the same price if you have fittings where the body of the bulb is on show...

True though the linked ones are still low brightness and the 50W are a lot more expensive from Screwfix, £9.99 for 5!

If people want a direct replacement for halogens, warm white is what they'd want but I know there are some people out there who like cool white.

You need at least 500lm to get true 50w

2700 is the usual yellow light we use in the house. That bright white is horrible. It's as though you can see the led flickering

sounds good
