Waste of money. Not LED
I need one of these for the kitchen I’ve been looking for a tube without much luck in the size I need but this is not far off tube price for the complete thing thanks OP.
I’ve just gone to order but not in stock anywhere in Sheffield.

Don't waste your time on fluorescent, fit an LED and it'll pay for itself in no time, with the energy saving. Also think the environmental impact, with all the nasties (heavy metals) in the tubes. Try and view the different types of LED lights, as some can be a very harsh light. Especially when fitted to the low ceilings in a domestic environment.
I have to replace a fluorescent fitting in the garage. This is perfect. No sense paying more for LED as it's hardly ever on
No stock... any other cheap deas any size..
Stock Widnes and Huyton so not a complete wild goose chase.
Got an ip rated one for this price at Screwfix. Good buy.

I wonder how you work out that it will pay for itself in no time. Firstly the equivalent Lm LED baton from screwfix is £89.99 screwfix.com/p/l…47g and uses 60 watt, therefor if you do the sums by factoring the price difference of the baton units then it would take years and years to pay for itself, if it ever did, and also the replacement flourescsent tube is much much cheaper than the LED, that is providing that th LED can be changed.
Has anyone managed to get this ?
edit just seen someone managed to find one.

OK compare the most efficient fluorescent tube (hf T5). For a 49w T5, the comparible LED would be 25w. The price you quoted for the 60w LED fitting (£89.99) is very expensive and can be purchase a lot cheaper. As little as £25. And this type of fitting is equivalent of 2 x 58w T8 tube batten fitting. So 116w compared to 60w. Now do the maths, with a more realistic comparison.

I am comparing this unit with an equivalent LED unit. This single fluorescent produces 6000 lumens and uses 70 watts. An equivalent LED which I mentioned earlier which produces 6100 lumens and uses 60 watts to produce this. Ok it is very slightly brighter and slightly lower wattage, but I think the initial purchase price of the LED £89.99 against the purchase price of this Fluorescent Standard Batten at £13.49 would out way any possibility of the LED paying itself back in no time. The ones that you quote above still don't come anywhere near the lumens of this fluorescent.
