This looks to be a pretty decent external light, LAP is a fairly good brand (judging by the sockets I recently bought from Screwfix) and the housing is stainless steel. The price has been reduced by £4.00 and this is the Deal of the Day.

Probably not the brightest of lights but on drives and pathways it will probably be fine.

    £14.99 at lidl from the 23rd April
    Bought two of these, but without PIR, from Costco for £20. The amount of light is suitable for use in complete darkness, but would be superfluous in the presence of street lighting. As we live in the middle of nowhere, I've attached them to our gates as 'welcome' lights. They're okay in the lighter months with plenty of sunshine, longer days and shorter nights - currently running until about 3am. They'll be next to useless in the winter due to lack of charging and early evenings.

    These ones with the PIR may be much more suitable if they only light up when activated. Some people have opened them up to disable the permanent low level LED to improve operability. This model is available from Banggood UK for £14.89 delivered each.
