Laphroaig 10 single malt scotch whisky £25 @ Amazon

Back in stock in amazon. The 10 year old has been a bit more expensive lately in the usual places so 25 note is not bad at the moment, probably as cheap as it gets. Not as good as the quarter cask imo but better than the NAS select stuff they are peddling.

Also same price at Waitrose if you can't wait for delivery and have a store nearby!
As I hail from the middle of absolute nowhere, an expedition to waitrose would not only incurr a higher fuel expense than free home delivery, but would also cost me precious dram/dram token earning time. Kudos though. If your in the vicinity, fire in.
So tempting must must stop buying these Amazon whisky deals. Going to Costco this weekend so gambling they might have some of the quarter cask left.
Jeez thats £159 spent on Amazon drink deals today.

Thanks pal but gotta knock this site on the head for a few days.
It would seem the it does not stay off this price range for long. Thank goodness !! The best sub £30 aged peated dram there is with the big exception of Quarter Cask when it gets around this price point. Quarter Cask is better but not at it normal price of £38 better

Hospital in a bottle. My favourite. I prefer this to the quarter cask and will never pay more than £25. May nip to Waitrose, thanks OP.
Heat for the price but it reminds me of TCP when I open the bottle. Jura superstition is peaty enough for me.
Tastes of railway sleepers and creosote with a hint of TCP and burned out department store.
Not for me.
On offer at Costco this week at £23.98 if you're a member!

That's Quarter Cask at Cost co, the superior deal if your a member. If not this is still darn good. Anyone who does not like this I can completely understand. Burnt down hospital extinguished with sea water is probably the best description. I love it
My personal favourite is the Laphroaig Select, which is usually a couple of quid dearer than the 10 year old.
It also is currently £25 in Tesco

I actually thought Laphroaig select was normally on offer cheaper than the standard 10 y.o.

I've never tried it, but I know that it received a bit of criticism together with Talisker Skye as being 'toned down' versions aimed at those that don't like peaty whisky. But I'm sure it tastes good if you don't have any expectations of it being as intense as their core range.

Personal choice. I'm a regular visitor to Skye and prefer Black bottle over Talisker..... as do many Skye locals.

But whiskEy is subjective. (Yes, the E was right in that I'm an Irish drinker)

By chance I happen to have a large Laphroaig select beside me as I type this.
It's my personal favourite. In my humble opinion it is definitely smokier and a deaply peaty spirit compared to the regular 10 year old.

Just my personal opinion.
