    £14 for 70cl, that's a great deal.

Absolutely. I was trying to do the maths.

£20 used to be the absolute buy price, so £14 is time to clear the shelf.

    Great as stocking fillers

I hollow out Christmas crackers and replace with one of these and a scratch card. Nothing says Christmas like alcohol and gambling!

£23 should be for Laphroaig Select! If it's a mis-price on the 10yo I'd clear the shelf!

Yes it definitely was £23 for the 10 year 70cl I didn’t realise it was an in store misprice until I came home and looked at Sainsbury online to check my deal above before posting. (edited)

good price but it tastes like licking an ashtray

I have never considered licking an ash tray, but if it tastes like Laphroaig maybe I should give it a go?

It begs the question, if you don't even like Laphroaig, why did you even consider licking that ash tray?

    For the classy alcoholic

Well, that's fine if you don't understand how whisky should be tasted because it has nothing to do with being an alcoholic is a drink to sip slowly and taste the many different tastes eash different whisky has to offer because no whisky tastes the same and even the same Whiskys from different batches can taste different, yeah so nothing to do with alcoholic.
