Laphroaig 10 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, (70 cl) was £37.00 now £28.50

Laphroaig, pronounced 'La-froyg', means the beautiful hollow by the broad bay' in Gaelic. The smoke from peat gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. Swirl to release the pungent, earthy aroma of peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley and the delicate heathery perfume of Islay's streams. The most richly flavoured of all Scotch whiskies. Distilled on the remote island of Islay off the West Coast of Scotland. Laphroaig (La-froyg) single malt Scotch whisky has always kept itself a bit remote, like the islanders of Islay themselves. A touch aloof at first, but make the effort, broach acquaintance, and you'll have a warm and genuine friend for life. Take it neat like a stalwart, or with a splash of soft water. Roll it around on your tongue. Release the pungent, earthy aroma of blue peat smoke, the sweet nuttiness of the barley, the delicate, heathery perfume of Islay's streams. Close your eyes, and imagine the waves lapping Laphroaig, ''the beautiful hollow by the broad bay''.

According to My Supermarket it's still £25 at Asda, but Amazon also have it at £28.50 if that's an easier option

Edit: think my supermarket is wrong, Asda's website says £35...

Asda website has it at £35 - groceries.asda.com/sea…aig

£25 is a very good price for this.

It's regularly £25 in Asda etc, as is the Select, though I much prefer this.

You don't have to wait too long to find it for £25. If you can hold out there is usually a cracking Quarter Cask deal in the run up to Xmas
